The Walking Dead

  • As for tonight's episode, thought it was really solid. And I hate Carl and felt bad for Dale. It's a no-win world now, really. You want to stay good people but can't. If you do, you probably get killed by trusting the wrong person, and if you don't, you turn into them (bad people).

  • How could you hate Dale? He was the moral conscience of the group.

Shane literally represents that dark immoral self-consumed part of all of us that is willing to protect oneself at the expense of all others.

Dale was the one trying to get the group to retain their humanity.

I allways thought Dale was like a pedophile.

I just wish everyone would die except for Glenn and his female, Darryl, and T-dog

Man you have to keep Lori alive...simply because she's pretty easy on the eyes! Maggie is very attractive too, definitely the hottest one overall!

    Dale is stupid as hell.

Why? The entire point of tWD isn't about surviving the zombocalypse, it's about what happens to civilization at the end. He may be naive but his points about turning into nothing more than a society of lawless highwaymen is the main focus of the story.

I'll allow it only if she doesn't talk.

  • BTW, for those that care, Dale dying is a HUGE deviation from the comics.

I just don't like his character in the show. And I know that it's about civilization and trying to stay sane, but thats just not the world that they live in now.

  • I have a feeling he left bc darabont was fired... Which was so dumb. The show has suffered for it.

  • The guy who played Dale was only on there as a favor to one of the producers he's friends with. He wanted to move on to something else so they wrote him off.

Fair enough; I feel this should be the case with about 90% of women that are on shows today.

I read a summary of the comics and the whole show seems to be a HUGE deviation. Like, aren't there just multiple characters from the comics not in the show? And multiple characters in the show who weren't in the comics?

Was just a summary though so maybe I missed a lot.

^This. Dale is Piggy from The Lord of the Flies. I like his character, but his death was inevitable.

Isn't your father friends with one of the producers?

I'd love to get the producers opinion on Darabonts "firing"...total dick move by AMC

Just a $ issue, nothing more. There's a lot of work in GA for film people right now because of tax breaks. My dad's friend on Walking Dead is actually moving his family here from Denver this month since they're starting season 3 filming in April and he's already here helping out on Teen Wolf for MTV right now.

From the producers' perspective they're "saving" 25% on tax breaks, so they can use that to get a show going then skimp it on production and still make more episodes per season once it gets picked up.

Yeah. They shouldn't have cut the shows budget just to put more money into Mad Men. They're even screwing Breaking Bad.

I actually like Teen Wolf. Glad to see it continue.

They need to freaking cancel The Killing altogether after the joke of the first season finale. I've never been so pissed after watching a show in my life.
