I wonder how many of the main characters the TV show will be willing to kill compared to the graphic novels. On the one hand, TV audiences tend to form strong bonds with characters and they really drive shows and build loyal followers (that's what character driven shows like this, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, etc. are so good). On the other hand, the thing that made the comics good IMO was that the writer didn't give a flying fvck who you liked. It's the zombocalypse, no one is safe. (Not mentioning who did or didn't die).

    Thoughts?

Good question. Amy and several others went in season one, although six episodes wasn't enough to build up too much. Shane, Dale & Sophia all went in season two as well as Otis & Patricia. No idea what will happen moving forward. I personally think Daryl is too ingrained in the group now, and if Merle went after T-Dog that he would step in. I can't wait for Daryl/Merle to meet back up. It should make for some great confrontation.

  • Personally, I don't see Rick holding back on Merle like he did in season one. He could get an ax to the head like one of those prisoners, but like you said: it will be interesting to see how Daryl and Merle interact now.

  • Looks like next week's episode will focus more one the Governor and Machone and not on Rick and the crew at the prison.

The ax to the head was sweet...... Hoping Rick will do the same to his fat wife.

    Go eat a cheeseburger fatty.

Season three Rick is an OG. do y'all think Laurie shed tears at the end because that's the first sign of affection Rick has shown her in awhile (when he put his hand on her shoulder) or because she knows it is pretty much over for them?

    This.

She knows he is such a good guy that he was doing his very best to muster up a there, there... despite his obvious disgust with her. Same w/ his "you're not a bad mother" speech.

That was my initial thought the whole time but then something in her facial expression when she put her head where he touched her on the shoulder made me rethink that

Don't put words in my mouth, Lamp. But since you brought it up...how old is she supposed to be? I say Carl bangs her in season three.

IMBD said she is 16 supposedly... Close enough IMO shrug

In a zombie apocalypse, she's fair game with zero hesitation whatsoever. Carl is already becoming a man sooner than most by popping caps in walkers, but once he gets some tail maybe he won't be such a biotch.

She's like early-mid twenties in real life so you're good.

My dad has a couple scenes coming up where he gets killed. They gave him a pic since his scene in the first episode got cut, but he's not supposed to even email it to anyone since it has Glen in it (SAG bullshit).

    ***Slight SPOILER but not really***

Later in the season my dad fights with Rick and gets a crossbow arrow shot through his face.

  • Thoughts on last night's ep? The Governor's zombie head aquarium is pretty cray.

The Governor from the comic series was a brutal psycho.

I don't see the show going that far with him but he is going to be pretty nasty.

Yeah I knew he was supposed to be. They seem to portray him as very conflicted in the final scene from last night. I thought he was going to bang Andrea the way she kept looking at him.
