Rick is probably going to blame himself for it all. He's going to think he should've killed the prisoner that created all the havoc initially instead of just locking him out and assuming he'd get taken out by the zombies. It sucks in retrospect, but none of it would've happened if he had.

Not necessarily. They had *some* supplies and what-not. It's possible she would have lived with those supplies and Hershel running the show instead of Maggie.
