The annual Boise State Schedule Thread

They don't put all their marbles in one game they have months to prepare for.. You know, they actually play more than one BCS school. Lol at sticking up for them and who they play compared to teams who play in a real conference against real teams.

Boise State plays more than 1 BCS school.

    Have to agree with this.

Boise State could face the entire top 10 back to back to back and you would still find the same people hating on them for different reasons.

BS. If they went through a hard schedule, I would give them respect. Winning one big game a year doesn't do it. Indiana & Minnesota suck ass in the B1G, they would be the best teams year in year out in the Mountain West.

Considering Indiana lost to North Texas and Minnesota to New Mexico State, both horrible teams in small conferences, I'd give that a resounding no.

No they would not. They would fair better in the MWC for sure, but would not be on par with Boise St.

Wake Forest, Duke, Miami, North Carolina, and Boston College last year were all very average and no better than a Nevada type and certainly not a Georgia or TCU.

Uhh, what schedule are you looking at? @MSU is their only game vs. a BCS conf. school.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Georgia Tech. Solid, not a world beater. Virginia, mediocre and their easy schedule helped them out too. Clemson twice, and they were blown out and embarrassed both times.

Out of Conference: Appalachian State, East Carolina, Arkansas State, Marshall

    Terrible.

They are FBS, not all BCS, but you don't have to get all defensive about it.

Point is, you don't have to be from a BCS conference to field a talented team. Times have changed. College Basketball is a great example of this. the past few years Butler, Gonzaga, VCU can beat anyone, anywhere. It's much harder in football but Boise/TCU/Utah all showed it can work. TCU and Utah oth got their promotions but Boise can't since it's not a good academic school.

    So you ARE denying it.

Just a little FYI, every conference in FBS is a BCS conference, just not all are AQ conferences.

"All eleven conferences in the Football Bowl Subdivision are "BCS conferences." There is some confusion associated with this as the terms "BCS conference" is often used incorrectly to describe an "Automatic Qualifying" conference. The five non-AQ conferences are just as much BCS conferences as the six AQ conferences."

Florida State? Clemson? Both would go undefeated with BSU's schedule.

How convienant to leave 2 top 15 teams off your list.

But yeah, playing the mwc is soo much tougher [facepalm]

How could I forget about the almighty Florida State, who Virginia Tech didn't even play. And whose team that lost to Wake would most definitely beat Georgia in Atlanta plus TCU.

  • Anyways, Lesticals, I'm talking about Virginia Tech, not the ACC as a whole. Tech's schedule was crap for a “BCS Team” and comparable to Boise. Their toughest game was a bowl game, which teams dont schedule.

They're not a BCS conference.. They are in the sense that all teams are under the BCS but they ARE NOT one of the 5 AQ BCS conferences.

Wyoming is not a BCS team.. Think what you want.. I don't care, just stop posting
