The best BCSCG and Final 4 type location?

1. Sugar Bowl 2. Orange Bowl 3. Rose Bowl 4. Fiesta Bowl.
The Fiesta Bowl should lose its spot to Dallas IMO.

You don't like the Final Four? WOW!! However you lost me ranking the Orange Bowl site #2. First of all it is 20 miles outside the City... there is nothing out there... sure you stay on South Beach a couple nights... but big deal... Miami has nothing to see except Beaches and some Clubs... All the other sites have so much more to do,,,,,

I know. I admit, I like LA and going out there for the game was great, but I'll take dropping my car off with a valet. and not having to look at it for 4 or 5 days anytime for an event like that over driving 30 to 45 minutes to anywhere you want to go. NOLA is just an adult playground. Best food in the country and as good a night life as anywhere, all within walking distance.

When you combine a region known for a type of food with the hospitality that come natural in NOLA and mix in the french and american cuisine, I would put it against anywhere.
New York has some better restaurants and Chicago is right there as well, but for the number of great restaurants in one small area, NOLA is hard to beat.
As far as nightlife, there are some great spots, but for getting together with a big group with an event type atmosphere it's up there.
Besides, I'm not a club guy. Austin or Nashville are probably my favorite actually. More of a fan of live music.

Overrated IMO unless you absolutely love that specific style of food. In places like Vegas or NYC you have amazing chefs from all over the world.

Just a difference in hanging out and throwing down I guess. Loved living in Austin, but it doesn't have the same feel.
I usually don't count Vegas in these discussions though. Different category, IMO.

Ummm no, I have just a tad bit of experience in Vegas... look I know there are good places to eat but I would take dining in NO over Vegas anytime... and what makes NY better? I love these arguments... I guess the other cities in the Country don't serve the same types of food that NY does?

I been in Vegas 10 fold the years you been alive... I agree with Better Off there is a much different feel... but outside of some exclusive restaurants... NO is more widely known for food for 1 and has better food per restaurant or however you wanna reason it.
