Ok I see that it has been one rebel verus everyone so I will try to help out.

First, Cooper is the best WR in the SEC, period. That does not mean that Moncrief is not a really good WR. Both are talented and have the makings of NFL Draft picks in the future. Moncrief, in this high speed offense, will have all the chances he wants to make plays. I understand what you all have been talking about, but just because one is better than the other does not discredit his talent too.

Second, Ole Miss will be competitive next year. We are not talking about BCS NT game, we are talking about a team that plays in the SEC. I understand that 6-6 is nowhere near impressive in the SEC, but it was a step that we had to take in order for Ole Miss to get back to playing a great brand of football. The west is the best division in football, everyone knows that, so for Ole Miss to actually make a splash we will have to play toe to toe with Bama, LSU, etc.

Third, I know that 6-6 is not the best but returning just about everyone of your starters is never a bad thing. Yes we know that one class does not change a program, but it can make waves atleast for 2014. I dont disrespect any coaches like Les Miles or Saban, but I do like Freeze and would love to have him for a long time. Everyone wants that coach that is there forever with sustained success and i feel as if Freeze can do that at Ole Miss. That doesnt mean NT every year, but it does mean that a bad season should be 6-6 in the future. Before I get jumped on for that last comment I will say that if we do put together some good seasons in a row( say 2 or 3) in the 8 to 10 win range, then expectations will change.

Last I would like to say I know what teams like Bama and LSU lost and what is returning and also who they got in recruitment. I know they are not getting worse, but can you honestly say that you dont see progression out of this staff and program? Do you honestly think that none of what has transpired in the last year will help us next year? Nkemdiche will start as a freshman and you know he will be good.

I get the banter back in forth, heck I enjoy it myself, but I can take off my red and blue goggles and make an honest opinion. I know we are excited about next season, can you blame us? we 2 hard seasons to watch and last year they played with pride and heart which gave us a reason to cheer because they left it all on the field. We signed a Top 5 class probably for the first time in school history( definitely since the surge of online recruitment following) and now we feel as if we are finally getting there with our SEC brethren.

Hoke has more BCS wins/appearances in 2 years than Ole Miss has in their history.

Again just like my Ole Miss bro said we're not talking about going to the NC game or anything like that. We're just happy to be back competive and playing with heart and passion! IMO a true fan of any school would be excited and thrilled for a top 5 class. Hell yeah we're excited for the best class in school history
