    Looking back.. This wasn't the best recruiting class and most of the really good players from this class came out of nowhere. I guess 2010 was a weak year overall in recruiting. Interesting to look back though.

  • Ronald Powell put on one of the best performances in the Army All American game that I have ever seen. That guy was an absolute beast. I don't know what happened to him down at UF, but he has not lived up to the hype. Kyle Prater fell off the map too. I don't even know if he is still at USC or not.

    Prater transferred to Northwestern and caught a handfull of balls this year.

    Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

    Prater transferred back home to Northwestern after getting buried on the depth chart (possibly some other problems too). I don't think he saw the field much this year for Northwestern if at all (I think he was eligible to play).

    Led the team in sacks as a sophomore and then tore his ACL the following spring. Jury is still out, IMO.

    In all fairness, nothing that happened in the world of college football during 2010 really counted.... you know.... because Michigan was down.

    and Nebraska wasn't in the Big Ten to help out.

    We were in the final 2 on one of those guys (Owa of UCLA). That has to count for something.

  • Jones and Joyner have both made All-ACC teams, and were key parts of one of the best defenses in the nation. Our best player from that class though was Werner who was only a three star
