Yep. Honestly, Paul had one shot, and that was this year. Who's going to run for the GOP in 2016? If Mitt doesn't win, Ryan can't run on his own. Paul is too old. Bachmann is too crazy. Rubio doesn't have enough experience. McCain already lost once. Chris Christie is like Huntsman, far too moderate on social issues for the extremists currently in control of the GOP.
Any potential contender will pale against a former Secretary of State who has already spent 8 years in the White House.

something I read was that quality candidates didn't want to run this year b/c they didn't want to go up against Obama...in 4 years from now the Republicans should have some quality choices and hopefully that won't include Ryan
The Republicans nominees this year have been caught in so many lies and Romney won't release his tax returns saying it 'goes against his spiritual rights'??? dafuq does that mean...funny that his dad released his tax returns when he was running for office (not presidency) in the 60s/70s and said everyone should release their tax returns
Obama is the less of two evils right now and I expect the Republicans to take back the White House in 4 years

I'm a democrat but this is to easy right now. The Republicans have so much hate for the Democrats that it's too easy to make them look stupid. If everyone just got along and worked together instead of fucking worrying about reelection or election this country would be a lot better off. I wonder if they think hey, if we work together and fix this we get to keep our jobs. I wonder if that ever crosses their minds.

Nooooope. Any difference of opinion from the extreme-right party line and you're immediately ostracized. We're seeing lifetime moderate Republicans losing elections to young Tea-Party members. We're even seeing lifelong Republicans switch party registry to get away from the insanity.

Romney getting elected directly affects my job and my livelihood...he is going to downsize the workforce in the military and wants to cut pay by 20%...that's part of his plan, why would I agree with that ever with any candidate?
