Not really covered up. Just a lack of media coverage. Both instances were investigated by not just ND campus police but by the Indiana State Police. Both times there was not enough evidence to bring about cases. Do you think the State Police would help cover up such crimes?

It is all around a shame. No way he should have been up there. It was stupid on ND's part. I do believe the family & ND did reach a financial settlement out of court. Doesn't make it right & won't bring him back. Could of & should have been prevented.

It was all over the place when it happened. Where were you? OSHA investigated & found no wrong doing. Still don't know why that poor kid was out there in those conditions, but OSHA found no wrong doing. Are they covering for ND?

There was no tragedy. Its bad that this girl killed herself, but when the ND police, and even moreso the South Bend police, who historically have it in for ND players of any sport (google the number of raids theyve conducted to bust students) find that nothing wrong happened, nothing wrong happened. They kissed, he tried for a little boob action, she blocked him, he stopped, and she cried rape. All of the facts up to the rape were confirmed by the player AND THE GIRL.
The girl had emotionial problems. her own therapist wanted her closer to home where she could get treatment, but her parents wanted her at St. Marys. Maybe if her parents were more concerned about her well being and less concerned about where she went to school she would still be alive today. The fact is that there are people to blame for this suicide, but the university isnt one of them. Ridiculously irresponsible reporting of lies and half truths.

Who knows, according to the article she never reported it. As for the first girl, she claimed the player touched her breast then was interrupted by a phone call. The phone records show he actually placed a call, not received one. Now, what are the police supposed to do? No marks, no witnesses, nothing was heard outside the dorm room?
