    And you should read the whole thread before you post. I phrased the OP wrong and further explained myself. I understand mods are people, and have stuff to do. But 247 should have this figured out by now, it's embarrassing.

    I don't really have time to between responding to all of the posters that have sent me a PM posting topics on here deleting and banning the spammers and try to spend family time all doing this on mobile.

    Well then you probably shouldn't be insulting posters saying they know nothing if you haven't taken the time to tell what they do and don't know.

    I'm not blaming the mods, I am blaming the tech people, and the people who run/own this site. Like I've said numerous times, it's been 2 years now. this shouldn't happen.

    Mods gotta stop trying to defend this issue, because there isn't any grounds for defense. It isn't your fault, I understand. But you shouldn't defend 247 on this particular issue.

  • Guys, the bots are not automated. If they were we could stop them in bunches. They are people registering, confirming and posting. I could fix that by turning this into a vip board like Rivals, or an approval board., but then a lot of people miss out.

    We'll find ways in the future, but there will be times when we are all away that the spam guys will get us for a bit.

    Well, for one, our posters pm us to report spam threads. We also don't stop at spammers but regulate bigots, racists, homophobes, and other Internet tough guys.

    For being the red headed step child of the network, at least we keep our house clean.

    I've seen more personal attacks on tBB coming from Michigan posters than any other school on the network. MOst of the time after someone questions te greatness of Michigan.

    tRCMB is as active as this board and there is rarely spam. The mods are around literally all the time. Not a knock on you, its just how it is.

    Our posters pm us to report spam also. We probably get more spam threads than them though with less user mods.

  • Guys, thanks for the feedback. I wish I had an answer other than adding more mods, going VIP, etc right now. I don't. I completely understand if the spam drives you away. When we get it fixed, I hope you come back.
