Def. the Fresno St. guy. Thats crazy numbers. He's all over the field. BUT, he won't win b/c he plays for Fresno, so my guess is Milliner

Don't really care what the DB's stats are to be honest.
They should keep track of the opposing WR numbers while being covered by said DB.

Also note that Thomas plays SS while the other two play CB.
Thomas does everything for Fresno State. We send him in on blitzes at the QB, he comes in and stops the run, and occasionally we even line him up at CB. Tremendous all-around athlete. Broke his leg and dislocated his ankle last year 3 days before the opener in a non-contact drill...he's part of the reason for the turnaround from 4-9 to 8-3.
He's had two other interceptions called back by penalties (not on him).

Milliner will win it since he is the bigger name, and he plays for the better team even though the Fresno St. guy should get it based on his stats and how much more he means to his team. Plus Milliner has been beat bad in a few games this year like the LSU and Teaxas A&M game.

Would've voted Milliner by a mile until the Texas A&M game. He was simply embarrassed by them. Coincidentally, he hasn't been impressive in either of their games against ranked opponents this season.

Good statistical numbers but another example of how stats lie. The tackle numbers are so high because he got beat so many times and had to make a tackle after the catch was made or because he was making a tackle after someone else's mistake. The half sack and tfls are legit though.
I think Milliner wins but think Banks is better and think the Fresno guy's stats are the best.

Champ Bailey is so badass he doesn't get picks because nobody is ever close to open. Stats don't always tell the story on a great DB.

I see your point, but I think that's slightly less applicable to a safety, particularly one who's used in so many ways like Thomas is.

That's why 25% of his tackles in the LSU were TFL. I guess he got beat so hard the dude went back behind the LOS for fun. Come on now. Alabama blitzes DBs like crazy.
By the way, Banks is so much better he is projected as the first DB picked and sixth overall...oh wait...no. That's Dee.
