Thoughts on politicians who

become lobbyists when they are done with their time as congressmen? This happens across the board, both dem and gop, and well over half of all congressmen stay in DC when they are done to get million dollar + a year jobs as lobbyists. I personally have a major issue with it, as I believe it undermines our democracy. Just looking for rational thoughts from others.

Many would claim first amendment on this, but I have a huge problem with it.

certainly there is nothing unconstitutional or illegal about it. It just smells wrong to me though. To easy to simply "pay it foward" then collect your rewards when you are out of office.
