    I see, Urbs offers the first in state scholarship to scraps to weed them out, sound strategy. As far as me saying that about Berger our staff wasn't recruiting him until a few weeks ago.

    To not even visit FSU or OSU will be one the biggest mistakes of his young life, and I hope he doesn't follow through with this choice

  • Hand seems like a smart kid so Bama may be more heavily involved later on but honestly i'm not that butthurt about it. I liked our chances with Lorenzo Carter anyway, but adding Kamara should makes us a pretty solid favorite to land him, and he's every bit as good of a pass rusher as Hand if not better IMHO. I have nothing concrete to support this, but I get a good vibe from Andrew Brown about Alabama, so maybe we can land him.

    Blanding never visited FSU. He will commit to UVA next week, take his visits, and then reconsider his decision after his visits. Not saying he comes to Florida State, but this recruitment is far from over.

    We had three consecutive top 25ish classes and are looking very well positioned for 2014. We also have a veteran staff in place so 8-4, 9-3+ are certainly reachable in 14 and beyond. No need for you to slam Blanding. Assuming he commits next week we will be delighted to have him and he will likely do very well on and off the field

    You are coming off a 4-8 season buddy, and that was in the ACC without FSU and Clemson on the schedule

    Those 2 were by far the 2 best teams in the conference, yet you and this so called staff still only managed a 4-8 record

    Sorry brah, expecting 8 and 9 wins moving forward is just you being a fan with dreams.... dreams that will never be realized

    UVA sucks at football and Blanding made a terrible decision, end of story

    and its a damn shame that those close to him wouldn't allow him to visit other schools out of fear he would like them too much and leave UVA hanging

    Just another sad story in the world of recruiting, I truly feel sorry for the kid but I also can't help but laugh at him for making one of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen in my time following this stuff

    Its a win win for Blanding, when you have Ohio State and FSU on the table... you don't pick the school that always gets the piss beaten out of them by OSU or FSU

    FSU has accomplished just as much as Michigan has in the last few years, more actually

    And Michigan plays in a weaker conference
