and we're talking western conference during that time was good top to bottom.

    Any other excuses for Kobe?

LBJ gets roasted for leaving Cleveland as a FA, Kobe quit and asked for a trade.
LBJ gets roasted for not winning, he's never missed the playoffs when he was elite.
When LBJ dominates 4th quarters. It's against a bad team.

It's really a joke how lame you haters are.

No Big Z wasn't an all-star when LBJ led them to the finals. You were wrong, its okay.

The Lakers also got wiped three years in a row. Not just didn't make the playoffs.

Again going to say this again slowly for you one last time.Big Z had been an allstar during the late 90's early 2000's right? At that time were Odom or Butler ever allstars?During the time frame we're talking about Big Z was better than Odom and Butler period.

USC is a powerful place that Lane Kiffin is ruining.

    What a stupid clarification.

Both Butler and Big Z were all-star within 2 seasons of the seasons in question. Lakers missed the playoffs in 05, Butler was all-star in 07, 08.

You are a SC basketball "fan". Who knows nothing!

Thanks for proving that at the questioned time,Butler was no allstar and Big Z had been.Carry on..........

Big Z was not an all-star at the time. Does Juwan Howard being an all-star in the past make him a good teammate right now?

Butler averaged 15.5 a game, Ilgauskas 11 and 7. Odom averaged 15 also, with 10 rebounds to match.

So Odom had better numbers than Big Z, but Big Z was better amirite?

    Thanks for being a dumbass.

Again Lebron and co played in the WEAK east. The only dominant teams in the east at that time were Miami and Detroit.Kobe and co played in the FAR better west. The Spurs,Mavs,Kings,Suns,Sonics and the Rockets all had over 50 wins compared to only two in the WEAK east. What don't you grasp?Caron was not the Caron Butler that you see now and neither was Odom.In 04-05 Big Z scored 17 a game and 9 rebounds. In 04-05 Butler and Odom scored 15 a piece. So you're lying about Big Z's stats.Big Z was still a good player.Drew Gooden basically averaged 15 also.I thought we were discussing the year Kobe didn't make the playoffs clown?Try to follow a topic YOU started.Last but not least,LeBron didn't make the playoffs either that year.

LBJ was in his 2nd year at that point, he wasn't elite yet. Once he became elite his teams never struggled making the playoffs, or got swept in the first round.

LBJ made the finals when Big Z averaged 11 and 7, and Larry Hughes just under 15 a game. His best two players combined to average under 26 a game.

Kobe when he didn't make the playoffs best two players average 30 a game.

    Says a lot.

Now who has all the excuses LOL?You're trying to change the narrative also but I follow you.The topic YOU started was about Kobe not making the playoffs with a comparable team to what LeBron had.Turns out LeBron didn't make it either in a weaker conference at that. You forgot to add LeBron made the finals in the WEAK east.Add that to your story. It's a pretty cool tale bruh.

Excuses? If you were reading I always referenced lebron going to the finals. I never was talking about the same year. It's unfair to compare the "best player" in the league to a 2nd year player. LBJ never made the missed the playoffs once he developed. Kobe missed it when he was in his prime.

And "weak east" when LBJ made the Finals? Didn't the Pistons wipe the floor with Kobe in the finals the year before?

Cavs fan? Time to get over it man, LBJ did what was best for him. As a Raps fan I understand the hate (Bosh) but it is what it is.

Cavs didn't give him the players to make him stay so he bailed. Mo Williams, and Antawn Jamison weren't going to help LBJ win anything so he cut that horrible team.

Yes Kobe missed the playoffs one time in 16 years.Yes the Pistons bust the Lakers ass in the finals.Yes LeBron James is a beast.Yes LeBron James is a mental midget pussy who ran to a better team for help and still couldn't win. That is one helluva guy you root for bruh.
