That's not a good thing, Kobe is injured all the time these days.

You feel that justifies you somehow. Being injury prone is a negative.

LO was out 18 as well if you missed the edit... we rolled out ..

    Chucky Atkins
    Caron Butler
    Devean George
    Kareem Rush

and Stanislav Medevedenko... in the Western Conference... 34 wins...

Good point... Kobe barely plays through injuries...

He plays through injuries, but still gets injured all the time.

LBJ also plays through injuries a lot, and gets a lot more punishment because he actually goes to the tin.

    And Kobe won 34 games.

LeBron has never won less than 35, even as a rookie. LeBron has never been knocked out in the first round either, Kobe has twice.

I hate that you gotta fight the LBJ battle alone, because I do feel you on LBJ's skill level.

But, the teammate thing is where people get it wrong with LBJ. Especially once Mike Brown got there.

The worst the Cav's ever finished, in defensive ranking, was 8th. They also were a top 5, def rebd, and, offensive reb squad.

I dont blame LBJ for leaving, or Kobe for threatening the Lakers.

Magic got his coach, before Riley, fired, and Jordan also demanded his coach to be fired.

Its just there wasnt constant media back then. People look down at the Dwight Howard/Van Gundy fiasco being played out poorly by the media.

But, the media doesnt remind people that Magic, MJ, and other greats, did things similar in their day.

LBJ is great. Kobe is great.

What about the next two years where Kobe lost in the first round both years?

LeBron has never been knocked out 1st round.

Keep making excuses. Kobe fans are excuse makers.

At least LBJ fans admit when he chokes, Kobe fans always come up with something retarded to make his failures alright.

Who cares if the west was good? He still got his ass handed to him.

Kobe spent his first 10 years attacking the rim.. LeBron is a monster and no one gets in his way... he hasnt had any significant injuries.. when he does we will see his toughness

LBJ's teams were not very good at all. Kobe's might have been worse, but the offensive end was LBJ and LBJ alone.

If LBJ could have played with Shaq during that time span he would have had those 3 titles also. Kobe winning rings alone doesn't make him a better player end of story. That's my issue with everyone. Rings is the goal, but does Trent Dilfer winning a ring make him better than Marino? Is Robert Horry better than KG?

If LBJ continues to choke in the finals then it will hold weight, but he's really only had 2 bad playoff series in his whole career. And no one roasted Kobe when he lost in the finals, LBJ gets murdered.

They are both far and away the best players of the decade.

He ran out of gas last year after carrying Heat through Celtics and Bulls series. This year should be easier, and Wade is fresh so it should be a split load.

Lulz at leading league in scoring. Who cares man? LBJ averages pretty much same amount, but with almost double the rebounds, and double the assists.

Come on man... they were up 19 and started acting like the Harlem Globetrotters.. they were clowning and chest bumping... rubbing Dallas' face in it... he went for an easy dunk and instead clowned Dallas by stopping and he and his boys made 2 extra passes to show off.... WOOPS! Leading the league in scoring equates to you wailing about LBJ being a one man team.. Kobe was in the same situation in a REAL CONFERENCE.. not the weak ass East...The Lakers damn near make the Playoffs in 04-05 in the East...with 34 wins. You are almost arguing yourself now...bud.

  • These Kobe/Lebron debates are really useless, because there is no "right" answer.

They are completely different players, with a huge discrepancy in size.

LBJ's size actually wons the argument for him, because he simply can do things that Kobe cant do. Kobe is a generous, very generous, 6'6".

LBJ took Magic's frame and skill set, and upgraded it.

Unfortunately for Kobe, there is no upgrading the greatness that was MJ.

Kobe's strongest arguments over LBJ are, mentality, and offensive skill set.

LBJ, gets him in everything else, including defense.

LBJ still has to keep his gm, though for at least 7 more seasons to catch Kobe.

But, he's on one helluva pace, I will admit.

Im still taking Kobe in the playoffs, all day everyday though.

What you mean come on? He dominated all playoffs then faded in the last couple games. I think he ran out of gas. What does clowning Dallas have to do with anything? LBJ and Wade always play a little street in their games, its part of what makes them to watch.

LeBron is physically bigger.A better passer and rebounder for sure.Kobe like Jordan doesn't really care to pass. That's not their game. They are assasins.Kobe is the better dribbler/scorer of the two.LeBron is not a better defender than Kobe at the same stage of their careers.Kobe is by far the better offensive scorer.Lebron is a better all around offensive player.

He has done a lot of that in his career... maybe it is conditioning.. i think it is the bright lights.. my come on was they had the series... and decided to be cute... and LOST. Now they have to wait til this year to win... not 1...not 2...not 3....not 4.....not 5.... hahaha! It is fun to watch you're right... but you think Kobe or Michael screw around in the Playoffs? You ever see Magic clowning a team or Bird? Nope... you know what they have the LBJ doesn't?

LBJ has shut down PG's (Rose), SG's, SF's (Anthony), and PF's (Gasol). Much more versatile on defensive end. Take off the Laker shades brah.

And LBJ is going to be on the next 6 to equal that.

The All-NBA defensive team is retarded anyway. Somehow Kobe was on it over Tony Allen last year, and in no way shape or form was Kobe a better defender than Tony Allen last year.

I can make stupid arguments based off awards also.

LBJ 2 MVP's (3 soon), Kobe 1. LBJ better obvy.

I don't agree.LeBron is a good defender but the fact that he has Wade and Chalmers roaming helps imo. He's better at help defense than on the ball defense imo.Kobe like Jordan was a GREAT on the ball defender. The Heat ran basically a box and one against the Bulls. He had help keeping Rose from driving.Wade and LeBron cut off all driving lanes.Shut down Anthony?Didn't Melo just have 40 on the Heat in the game before this playoff game? The Heat as a whole shut down Melo.Than ran 2 and 3 people at him dude. What are you watching?Don't get me wrong,LeBron has vastly improved his defensive skills.
