Would someone please explain to me why this guy is some supposed expert on NFL talent? Really Tim? Why are you making six figures a year telling us how players like Trent Richardson, RGIII, Andrew Luck and Matt Kalil are flawed? You were a fvcking scrub in the NFL and had no business being in the league in the first place.
I will listen to Cris Carter but Tim fvcking Hasselbeck? This guy needs to be coaching high school football instead of telling the rest of the country how players that have talent that he couldn't even fathom will or will not succeed in a league that he absolutely failed at.
End of rant.

Mayock was drafted by the Steelers in the 10th round of the 1981 draft. He was cut, went to the CFL for 1 season. Played 2 seasons with the Giants and that's it. He is the best in the business today.
My question... What does playing in the NFL have to do with evaluating talent?

Nothing. But, Mike Mayock is generally acknowledged as an excellent evaluator of talent, whereas Tim Hasselbeck falls into the buffoon category.
Even MM screws up though...he thought Aaron Curry was a better lb than my boys, Clay and Cush.
Nothing new..the tearing down of players by the media and pundits pre NFL draft - always the same.

Well maybe I should have just said that Hasselbeck is a fvcking idiot.
Sean Payton also drafted Ingram in the first round and has no idea what the hell he is doing with him. Not to mention he is suspended for the entire season.

I was messing with you.
What about these guys Payton drafted 3rd round or later and undrafted.. U name one guy?
Jimmy Graham, Carl nicks, Marquise Colston, Peirre Thomas.. Literally a whole team he built.. He cut 35 players the day he arrived and built a superbowl team with draft and FA. It's actually incredible the talent he picked in the later rounds.
/pissing match.. Fwiw I agree on Tim, just stating a fact.

I wasn't getting pissed at you honestly.
I started drinking early and have a headache so my responses are seeming to come off a little short. You and Marine have made a good point it's just that Tim pisses me off is all.

Hasselbeck at least got to the show. More than a lot of people. Trent Dilfer wasn't exactly the greatest QB of all time. He wont a title behind an amazing defense. Now people think he's one of the greatest analysts ever. Just your opinion I guess. But don't bash him because he was a scrub.
