Tim Tebow completed two passes and still won

  • Is Kansas City and Matt Cassel really that bad, and the AFC West has to be one of the worst divisions in the NFL this year.

Tebow leads Broncos to 17-10 win vs. Chiefs – USATODAY.com

Tim Tebow hit Eric Decker on a 56-yard TD pass, one of his only two completions, helping the Broncos to a 17-10 win over the Chiefs.

  • Tim Tebow is 3-1 as a starter this year. On a team that has a depleted roster. The kid just wins. I don't care how many passes he completes (which will never be that low again) if he can get my team W's. And he will get better.

I'm waiting to hear Elway's words on Tebow this week. Real interested in what he has to say. Last week he said Tebow was the starter for this week but it's not decided for the rest of the year if he will be the starter.

He will start the rest of the year. They revamped the offense for him. He is winning, albeit ugly, but winning. And in the NFL that's all that matters. Whether they think he is the future is yet to be determined. But he will finish out the year, and should, because they don't know how much he can improve or what he is capable of, by sitting him on the bench. And besides, Orton and Quinn are not the answers, so why play them?

The reason for 2 completions is because they only called 8 passing plays. #1 you can't get into rythem with only 8 passes, and #2 because we run a zone read option offense now. And it is really helping our D. There is no way that it will work forever, but it helps with the adjustment and developement of Tim.

  • Peyton Hillis would fit in beautifully back in Denver. Never should have traded him. He can run the read option and block like no other. Did it fantastically at Arkansas with DMac out of the shotgun formation.

I agree with this statement. People like to make excuses for why he wins when the Broncos play a bad team but if he had lost to those same teams people would call for his head.

I would also say that if he had Percy Harvin and Aaron Hernandez the Broncos would have a great shot to win the AFC West. He still has a chance to win without these guys.

They beat the Chargers and Raiders. Two teams that many people believed would win the west.

They also lost to a team that doesn't have a QB.

Terrible , Cassel only threw for 93yds(he does this often). The raiders came in after lossing campbell, and it was Palmers first game and we shut them out. The chargers suck and Rivers had the worst game of his career when we played. Denver has played some bad football teams as of late , if tebow doesn't become a consistent passer he won't make it despite what anyone says.
