Right like the big ten wouldn't take ND football in a second. It is the team they are coveting, along with Texas, if for no other reason than tv $$.
Unfortunately, ND may have to join a conference with all the shuffling in the next several years. But I fail to see how one bad game, even on this scale, means we need a conference. (Especially using a team we beat, in Stanford, for your argument.)
No disrespect taken, I get this argument from my big ten loving family all the time.
