I prefer McShay to Kiper any day. Kiper just has that huge, douchey hair and has probably killed upwards of 10 interns with his exaggerated body language.

I thought he was completely against Kiper when it came to Tannehill. I thought Kiper was all over the Dolphins picking him and McShay said he was a late first round pick at best. I could be wrong.

Kiper seems like an arrogant a hole to me.
One of those, "I'm always right and you're always wrong" type of people.
But I do respect Mel, he's been doing this for a long time and puts in a ton of work on his evaluations.

Hate McShay. I would listen to a bum off the street about the draft before him. He may know where teams are picking players but he's awful at talent evaluation.

I would love to see where they rated them as far as overall, to how they actually do in the league(more subjective I know) but get better idea if they are talent evaluators rather than tied in to what teams are thinking...
For example I think Mel had Melvin Ingram as #7 player overall and 15th pick or so pick, went 18? So he was real close in projection to draft selection, but 11 picks off in best player available. 3 years down the round when 70% are not starters and 10% are pro bowlers, would love to see who rated them best... Ie best evaluators

Seems like McShay is pretty accurate when predicting the draft. I'll still take Mayock's opinion when it comes to evaluating players, though. Kiper just sucks. NFL Network draft >> ESPN draft because of Mayock.

I keep hearing about how much better the NFL network is to ESPN when it comes to the draft. Going to have to check it out next year.

Kiper is a douche but I still think it's awesome that he called for Stafford to be the #1 overall pick when he was in HIGH SCHOOL.
