Hard to say whether he's a solid coach or not based off of his work at AU, but he's an excellent recruiter IMO. One of the best you don't hear a lot about.

I wouldn't touch any coach that has been at AU the last few years. Worst defense in AU history. Western Kentucky and Western Carolina defenders tackled better and played tougher on D than AU this year.

He coached linebackers at North Carolina before coming to Auburn and several of the players he coached went on to the NFL. The positions he coached at Auburn sucked, but I think that might have more to do with the players

I love how bams know so much about AU, I couldn't tell you a bams assistant coaches name outside of KS. AUbsessd. Aubie25 excluded of course.

Saw UT got Willie Martinez as well, not sure about him. He was a good secondary coach with BVG at UGA, a horrible DC at UGA. We sucked at pretty much every position this year so jury still out on him.
