Tony Romo a top 5 QB?

  • eaglew/stripes said...

I think Cam turned the ball over too much to be in the top 10. I think Luck will be more efficient than Cam, although not as explosive. Maybe I should have said 2 years for Luck. He is going to be special early though.

Have you checked the Rookie stats of Peyton Manning? 2nd year stats for Manning? Not a given but there is typically precipitous improvement between Year 1 and Year 2.

Also take a look at the Panthers' offensive yards per game and points per game in 2010 versus 2011. The difference is glaring.

If he continues to work hard, Newton will be top 10 in 2012, top 5 in 2013 and probably the #1 player in the NFL by 2015. The game has never seen a QB like Newton. He could "Change The Game"....

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

  • Based solely on the production at the QB position, the only QB in the league who is better than Romo is Aaron Rodgers. If you want to use Super Bowl victories in your argument, then you are saying Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer were better QBs than Dan Marino.

  • Romo>>>Vick and Ryan.. No doubt about it

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.

What? How on earth does romo in any way have better production than Brees and Brady?

Dumbass post of the week, IMO

I think if he improved like he says he has he will be in the top ten after this year. IMO there are a few really really good young guys in the NFL right now at QB.

Brady, Brees, and Peyton have all put up better seasons in stats and winning that Romo ever has.

They've had better seasons and they've had worse seasons. Overall, Romo has been better.

U do realize Brees has thrown for more yards than anyone in the history in the nfl over a 5 year period. Broke Marinos record.

    Won more games, superbowls..

I dunno why I'm talking to u on this

This just in - the only thing to measure QBs by is yards. Not touchdowns per pass, interceptions per pass, completion percentage or anything else. Just yards.

You're the only person on this board who thinks Romo is better than Brees/Brady and I'm the dumbass?

Yousay u can't use yards but to help your argument and u say we cant use Super Bowl wins?

    Um... No. Nice try, though.

Enjoy your turnover-prone, big game choking, locker room cancer of a starter. If I were the Jets, I wouldn't accept a trade of Mark Sanchez for Romo.

I never said yards didn't matter, dumbass, I just implied that yards aren't the only thing. I never said you couldn't use SB victories, just that if you did then you would be saying Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer were better than Dan Marino.

Did you even finish grade school? Your reading comprehension is seriously lacking.

Yeah, I think people hate on him because he just isn't very good. He is a serviceable, game-manager type, if he didn't play for a team like Dallas, nobody would ever mention him and elite in the same sentence.

Dude is easily a top 10 QB.

Brees, Brady, Rodgers, Peyton, Eli and Big Ben are QBs I would take over him.

If Romo is turnover prone and a choke artist, what does that make Brady who had a 4 interception game last year in which the Patriots lost? What about Brees, Rivers, Manning, and Roethlisberger who all had 3 interception games in which their teams lost?

    A 2-time SB champion.

A SB champion, a bit overrated, a 2-time SB champion, and a 2-time SB champion.
