I don't really understand why people don't get rooting for your conference to win OoC games. It has nothing to do with "liking" teams like Auburn; I won't be heart broken if they lose. But if our conference looks strong due to them winning, that means the teams at the top get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to polls due to "strength" of schedule. Everyone always complains that they don't think the SEC is as strong as we make it out to be or they get mad when an SEC team jumps another conference team in the polls, but a large part in those things happening is perception. Right or wrong, perception gets us votes, votes put us in the big game, and then we win the big game.
So, I support whatever helps along the road to the championship.

I'm assuming you formed your opinion from the ND/Alabama game? So is it ok for me to say that Louisville is better than pretty much the entire SEC since they walked the dogs on Florida? You can't compare Alabama to the SEC until someone can actually knock them from the top spot. A&M played a great game and beat them but they still won the SEC conference. Is the SEC the best conference? Sure, but again, how many of those 7 or 8 consecutive titles does Alabama have?
Listen, the whole white boy thing for our DB's isn't the problem. Last I checked, the last one we had starts for the Vikings and Motta(our most current one) will be drafted as well. ND's problem this year was a lack of offense and no depth defensively. Just for the record, they lost their starting CB for the year during spring ball and their top CB recruit left (because of homesickness I believe). ND is on the right track and our QB was only a freshman.
PS: USC will never win a NC with Lane Kiffin as coach. You had the talent to be special this year but you saw how that went.

You have got to be sh*tting me. USC is a dumpster fire right now. You were short-handed this year. You only signed abut 12-13 kids in Feb. Lame Kiffen is your OC. You get rid of a coach that is a favorite of the players. USC is falling apart and your boy Kiffen is HMIC (head moron in charge). Look at that final goalline stand against ND. He had like 8 or 9 tries to get in the endzone from the 2 yd line. Plus, he wasted like 4 minutes off the clock. Good job LFK. I hope USC gives him an extension.
Did I mention that Lame Azz Kiffen was your coach? That says it right there. No championship for you for a long time.

It's heading up. Only an idiot thinks USC doesn't get more than 7 wins next year which means we're going in the right direction.
As for the decommits, I don't worry myself with the recruits who don't choose USC. So if you want to know the answer to that i suggest you do your own research

3. But UF and LSU also have multiple NC's . There have been even more since the start of the game in 98'. The SEC has won 8 out of the 15 NC games. We are 8-1 in them as well (only loss is to another SEC team).
Bama (09', 11', 12') LSU (03', 07') [played for another in 11'] UF (06', 08') Tennessee (98') AU (10')

I disagree with you on ND being able to compete with the other tip top SEC teams. I'm not saying it's not possible, just not probable. When our teams play in big games they get up for it. The SEC has never lost a NC game. We beat UGA, but had to stop them inside the 10 on the last drive to do so. They were pretty good. I feel like if a few teams in the SEC played for it all, they would have been very tough to beat. I would have picked them to win. I;m not trying to flame when I say this b/c I think you guys are well ahead of schedule with Kelly, but I'm not so sure you played a decent team all year outside of us. There were a few questionable games on your record. The Pitt game being the biggest.
As for the SEC stuff....I can't speak for everyone but it's mostly a cost/benefit thing to me. We play a difficult schedule and feel like we should be rewarded for it. That goes for all of us. A team with two losses form the SEC should go ahead of a team from the ACC or Big 10 or PAC 12 or whatever. That will continue to happen as long as we all keep up our history of winning. So for that to happen you want need other teams to do well because in the end it helps you. We never would have gotten to win the NC in 11' if for not being in the SEC. Oklahoma State would have gone instead and gotten blown out against LSU. I think a lot also have a never again type of attitude after an undefeated Auburn team got left out of the NC game in 04'. We know how hard it is to go through the SEC and win all those road games. We that happens, they should get a chance over some of the others with an easier path.
Also, we cheer for each other out of respect. It's like a civil war between Southern states. It's like, well, we might have lost to Louisiana, but at least the champion this year is Southern (SEC). You might not believe me when I say it and that's fine, but it's different down here. it's a 24/7 365 day a year shi* talking fest about football. We never take a break from it. It's more important to us, and we feel like the honors of being the champion belong with the people who live it on a consistent basis.

No...it's you guys being proud that a southern team beat a northern team. It would be a cold day in hell if I ever rooted for Ohio State, Notre Dame, or Michigan State unless it somehow helped us regarding our place in the division.
