If Peyton and Brady switched, Peyton would have more rings IMO.

    How do you figure?

Name one wr Brady had in his three SB victories?

More than just WR's..... Look at the teams besides the quarterbacks (coaching included)........ Obviously this isnt the only reason but compare each team when their qb missed the season....Pretty sure they matt cassel had 9-10 wins that season, now he's Brady Quinn's backup ..... The colts without manning got the first overall pick in the draft

How bout we look at what each one has done in the games. With the money on the line. In the playoffs.. Manning for years would go 14-2 or 13-3 and lose to Brady. Or throw a pick 6 in the SB game winning drive.. Brady never has.

I love Manning. Truly top 3. But You cant put him above Brady. Cant be done.

  • For those of you who do NOT have P.Manning in your top 2 are just crazy. You can say J .Montana is the best and rightly so but P.Manning is right behind him and its close.

Who is better than cam? I can't think of anybody who deserves a spot above him.

Are you talking about QBs just in your lifetime?

If so, I'd take Steve "air" Mcnair over Cam any day. Even Aaron Rodgers. There are plenty more, too.

I'm not going to get in a Manning/Brady argument, because those can turn out bad. I'll just say I disagree and leave it at that.

  • 1. Joe Montana
    2. John Elway
    3. Peyton Manning
    4. Dan Marino
    5. Tom Brady

There are a few others that are close, but here are three that should aren't usually in the conversation who deserve more consideration than they usually get:
Kurt Warner (Was healthy enough to play 16 games just 3 times in his career. Led his team to the Super Bowl in all 3 of those seasons. Top 3 passing yardage games in SB history. If he would have been able to stay healthy more, the sky was the limit.)
Otto Graham (10 career seasons, 7 career championships.)
Warren Moon (Incredible numbers. He would be up there with the best of them had he gotten an NFL shot out of college.)

  • Montana
    Marino
    Manning
    Elway
    Brady
    Brady's points in Super Bowls: 20, 32, 24, 14, 17
Great player, but for all the talk about him being the best in big games, not a lot of points.

  • Anyone ever read "Dark Side of the Game"?

Jerry Glanville gave specific instructions to the Falcons to avoid hurting Joe Montana because they didn't want to face Steve Young.

    Always thought that was interesting.

I think the big thing there is that the difference in skill set that Young brought to the table would be really tough to defend if your team had prepped for Montana all week.
