Series 5, episode 5 where Jeremy tries to get a diesel around the 'Ring in under 10 minutes is what I'm watching now. Also the Morgan Aero 8 GTN makes an appearance.
I love the lines on this car.

Top Gear is my favorite show of all. I love it. I love their brutal honesty on cars, and they couldn't care less if a motoring club or the car manufacturers get upset with what they say.
The thing I find most interesting between the UK and US versions, are that on UK, they have influenced car companies to improve their cars by pointing out what's really wrong with them. On the other hand, the US version tiptoes around real criticism because they know GM, Ford and Daimler-Chrysler are going to pull their sponsorship if they go too hard on them. So the US version feels really disingenuous. Although I do think the US version is improving a little bit.
My favorite episode will always be the lorry episode from series 12, with Vietnam being considered my favorite depending on which day someone asks me.
Although I do wonder why Series 1 of "new" Top Gear isn't available anywhere. Is it because of the guy James May replaced?
