Yup.. Him and another 5* player, I think it was Jarvis Landry.. Can't quite remember though... Thank goodness he left and they both came here.. Or was it Frank Wilson that left and took The Freak and Landry back to LSU?

Yup... You need a dominant DL in the 4-3 and dominant LBers in the 3-4 (obviously) but no one does it better than Bama and LSU at those positions

Oh yeah for sure.. Mingo is a 3-4 OLB ALL the way... With his 4.5 speed and 6'5'', 245 pound frame.. He's the rare athlete that can actually cover these big, athletic NFL TE's... He's going to be a FORCE when he gets in a 3-4, rare, rare physical skills.
And yeah, Upshaw would've beasted in ANY system, dude was fuggin' scary

Actually, Ed O was Johnson's main recruiter. So something illegal had to be happening there. I think Wilson was out connection with Landry

Jonathan Taylor will be a Redshirt Freshman playing Nose Tackle for UGA this year. He's someone to keep an eye out for as a future star.

I concur.
The Gators DL in general should be pretty salty considering the losses...
Easley, Dante Fowler, J Bullard and R Powell are four pretty impressive front line guys.
And Jarran Reed has a HUGE upside and ability.

We were big KQ fans coming out of HS.
I think K Griffin's ability to give key snaps as a true fish is going to be key for South Carolina. He can bring something to the table for sure at the point of attack.
