Great years in Virginia and Louisiana.
Business as usual in Florida and Texas. Texas class of 2014 DB's is pretty much off the charts. Many more will find their way into the Top247 in the coming weeks.

Not that I'm expecting a lot of top PA prospects to emerge, but I'm curious as to how much evaluating you guys have done in Pennsylvania?

Ya first thing that popped out to me was how many elite/high-level prospects Virginia has.

A good bit. We think some prospects will definitely emerge, though, Some guys we like- QB Andrew Ford, ATH Thaddius Smith, RB J.T. Blyden, CB Anthony Davis, etc.

As much as possible...
RB JT Blyden will show up pretty quick as we expand out to 150, and all the way to 247.
OT Mike Grimm is another that has caught our eye.
QB Andrew Ford is a lefty pro-style QB we like as well.

Just a thought, but it would be nice to see some articles on emerging prospects in the non-power states. I know for PSU, our traditional recruiting grounds obviously cover VA and NJ, but also a bunch of other states where prospects may not be as evident (MA, CT, NY).

As usual Florida has good skill position players but there seems to be a lot more high level line men on both sides of the ball as well.

With the understanding that it is still early, not a great RB cycle - in terms of depth. Someone will emerge and join the pack, of course.

There's an OT from Mass in 2014 that will be part of the Top247, plus a DT and perhaps an APB from New York that we have an eye on.

Too early to tell.
California always takes longer for players to reveal themselves. Just look at sophomore offer lists every year in California and it is striking the difference between there and Florida or Texas. The talent is more spread out in California and a little bit slower to emerge but for now it looks a little bit down.

Also Cook being ahead of Yearby right now doesn't make any sense at all

I agree Cook might be better but when one runs for 2000 compared to around 800 for Cook, well the kid who starts and goes for over 2000 should be ranked higher
