He should move up very high in your rankings after you evaluate the film during the season as Miami Central plays a brutal schedule. Opening up with Loganville,Ga and the #1 player in the country, then followed by Booker T Washington, and then Bradenton Manatee. He will face some tough comp that many others won't face until All-star games and college.

We really are high on Darling.

  • 6 DBs from Texas and that doesnt even include Cedric Collins, Darrion Johnson, or Tony Brown?? this is an insanely deep DB class for the state of Texas. Also Gerry why is Hoza Scott listed as wde? This dude will be a MLB and tear it up for whichever school he goes to.

Illinois is turning out quite a bit of talent. Unfortunately they want to play for crappy Illinois or that egg sucking slime ball Kelly at Notre Dame.

slap you might want to look at Michigans class. Hawkeye/Husker dude..

lol you might want to tell him that. Just because you sent coaches there a lot last week that doesn't mean he's yours. Urbs will have something to say about that. tOSU is going to have a scary class next year and I strongly dislike them Nutz..

  • Any staff members seen CA QB Morgan Mahalak? Can't find anything on the kid and seems to be a complete unknown at this time.

  • I live in Iowa and hadn't heard of Lazard. I'm not so sure my Huskers are recruiting the kid. If he's not an elite player then he'll probably end up at either Iowa or Iowa State.

I guess I'm still miffed that Bailey chose Illinois over my Huskers. I guess the kid would rather be "the man" and get immediate playing time on a bottom feeder team than wait a year or two and be part of possible division and conference winner and play in BCS bowl games with the Huskers.

I don't see Scott as a MLB. He's not a guy that is going to be lining guys up and calling defense's. He's a guy that someone will be making sure is aligned correctly, and then he will be a playmaker.

I see him as a hybrid DE/LB type. Programs are going to want him on the edge IMO.

Unreal DB year for sure. Guys like T'Kevian Rockwell, Tony Brown, Cedric Collins and Brandon Simmons will all make appearances as the list expands out, and likely 2-3 more DB's from the loaded in-state group.

Me personally, I'm a fan of EJ Moss. He's very impressive, and will definitely show up as we expand out. The fluidity with which he moves for his size, and that ability to stick his foot in the ground and get vertical is very impressive - as well as his COD and power.

    Nick Glass and Demar Kitt?

What you think about DJ Smith at #53? Heard he may be the #2 RB for Walton behind Tyren this upcoming season.

I think I'm going to check out the Walton practice this afternoon and then head-over on Friday for the Spring Game.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

Royce Freeman we've heard from a lot of staffs as a potential guy. But on film, I dont really see it. He's a guy we definitely have our eye on.

I love Jalen Davis but he's listed at 5-9. Need to see a guy like that in person before feeling comfortable having him on a top100 list nationally. No doubt he's a player though.

Olave is a good looking player that we'll continue to evaluate.

Graham wasn't a guy I was familiar with but at 5-7 playing middle linebacker it's gonna be hard to convince me that he finds his way onto a national list like this.

Love DJ Smith as a player...very athletic and big DB. He will be the #2 behind Tyren this upcoming season. I have not really formed an opinion on him as a RB so interested in seeing him there. I plan to be at the Spring Game on Friday as well. Heard Tyren might actually get some spot duty either as CB/Safety. Don't know if you have ever seen him on defense, but he is as physical as they come....could easily be a Top 247 DB as well if he wasn't such a stud RB.

Impossible for me to go there at this point.

There have been some stellar RB's cycles in Texas over the course of history too.

Well from experience of following recruiting. You grow up a dawg, your family are dawgs usually means they end up a dawg. But just for you, I'll let you think Urban Meyer Weiner has a chance.

I saw some of Tyren's highlights from when he played defense with the Wheeler Wildcats and he was in "beast" mode.

I hope he isn't hitting DJ when he lines up at RB as Tyren is really a powerful, physical kid and will probably cause some damage if he gets a good hit. The new pic on his profile here........already looking like Ray Rice or Mark Ingram.

See you at the game Friday.
