Yes that is true too. I think that we have more in our favor but you never know when it comes to 18 year old kids. We'll just have to wait until next week after he discusses it with his family.

Or perhaps you are hoping for SC's downfall at the hands of the NCAA, since your own team doesn't seem capable of doing it. The last time OSU beat USC, US ground troops were still fighting in Vietnam and NIxon was the president. That's right- 29 years ago.

In any case, I hate to burst your little hater bubble, but SC has been playing with a reduced roster ever since the NCAA (in an unprecedented move) dropped the hammer and declared that all of SC's Jrs and Srs could transfer and play immediately as part of the sanctions. Combine those upperclassmen's "free agency" with that year's recruits being scared off by the two year bowl ban and you have a roster that has been under 85 for the last three years.

SC had 80 scholarship players last year, and that includes as couple who had medical issues who weren't going to play and some walk-ons who had gotten scholarships.

SC only took about 45 players up to Oregon last year.

So as much as you and some of the other haters want to think that the 75 limit is going to be SC's downfall- think again. It will hurt their depth a bit, but it's not going to be crippling.

The worst effects of the sanctions have already been felt, and the way Kiffin and Co recruit, I'll take my 75 over your 85. Any time.
