  • I will go ahead and say it. If FSU's move to the Big 12 is announced in July I think we land Tunsil. It'll be a big push for us in recruiting because teams have negative recruited us on the irrelevancy of our conference with big time kids.

    FSU would get a bigger boost than what makes sense from this for 2-3 classes.

  • Not too many FSU/UF battles this year. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I kinda like going head to head against FSU for recruits it's like a small victory if UF wins.

    yeah when he transferred to Cass it was pretty much done. Not sure why many are hopefully but FSU is getting players from UM feeder schools so just maybe........

    Isn't First Coast somewhat of a FSU feeder and UF got McMillian.

    We've pulled kids from there before (Ryan Stamper) and Bama pulled Black last year. I wouldn't say it's a FSU feeder but they get a bunch of kids from there. Especially recently.

    If Marcell were decide now, he'd be a Gator. I'm pretty confident he'll sign with us on NSD regardless. And to your Tunsil comment, I don't think FSU moving to a new conference will influence him. JMO. It'll be a three team race all the way to the finish line. IMO, we lead, then Georgia, then y'all. And no homer, I think Bryant Young's relationship with him swings the decision is our favor. With or without 5 other OL committed by then. He, VHIII and Alexander are our +1s.

    No, but FSU just recently got back in the school in 2008 when Jimbo came on to the staff. Most kids from that school have went to uf in the past. Their are a lot of them I cannot think of right now, because I played against a few them in a Jamboree or saw them play. I know that y'all got a few receivers out of their in the early 2000's when Zook was the coach.

  • I know that you got Mike Macintosh who was commited to clemson I believe, and almost to FSU before deciding on Florida. Y'all also got Kenneth Tookes, Reggie Lewis, Ryan Stamper, and that is it until this year. Zook was able to get a lot of kids from Jacksonville and First while it seems like Meyer could not.

    tOSU is the clear leader, not sure if Coach Meyer will take him but I feel Foster will do the things that need to be done to end up with the Buckeyes.

    As you are aware our class always is 98% out of state kids. At this stage with very few of these out of state kids visiting it's impossible to know where we stand. After June we should know a lot more with some key targets. Smith, Anzalone, Rochell, Robinson, Green, Hargreaves, McQuay, Ngakoue, Randolph, Ball, Bower, and Johnson. Of the names I mentioned here Smith, Rochell, Ngakoue, and Ball i feel very confident about. Robinson, Green, Anzalone, and Randolph it's 50/50..
