We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.
Where the madness isn't just in March.
You have no favorite boards.
Any of you do this before? What are your experiences, and any suggestions? This will be my first time.
3 time POTW
Did the Tampa one this last December. The traffic and parking made us an hour late to our start time. It was a good experience. Make sure you're hydrated.
Stay to the outside... people clog the middle. Eat a BIG breakfast 2 hours prior and hydrate.
Did the Tampa one, guy suggested about hydration/electrolites they are very important as I was getting some cramps about 8miles in. I did see that kinda the less clothes the better, to a point. A few of my friends baggy shorts and shirts became heavy with water, etc. I wore gloves that there is a good amount of hanging and climbing but that is personal preferance
Did the one in Georgia last February and am doing Jacksonville this May. Good advice above. Don't wear a camelbak. I thought that would be a good idea my first time but ended up ditching it 30 minutes in. They have plenty of stuff along the course. Also don't skip the ice dumpster. It's cold as shit but will numb your legs up and help you endure the distance better.
Unless you're a SEAL why in the blue hell do this to yourself?
Drop all that junk and be happy like me.
