He said he was close to committing at the Opening and he didn't pull the trigger. Since then he's started to lean towards other schools. It's easy to see why Michigan fans thought he was a lock when he said he almost committed earlier in the year though.

I'm aware. However, I do think that most fans would make the same assumption based on what Treadwell had been saying at the time. Anyone who's been following his recruitment lately knows that Michigan had been trending downwards for the last couple of months.
