    Your $.02 ain't worth sh*t.

    Jonathan Gray will play from day one. He'll "start" maybe later in the season, but he will immediately become a part of a three-RB committee. Bergeron, Brown, and Gray. They'll all play, and they'll be running behind a much improved line. And before you mouth off ignorantly about one of them transferring or leaving, this is what they all want. They all want to share the rock and become an integral part of what will become Texas' resurgence.

    Mock Jonathan Gray now. Question Malcolm Brown and Joe Bergeron if you must. But do come back in a handful of months and admit you're just an ignorant hater.

    Both lines will improve, and both sides of the offense. If special teams isn't a complete meltdown, things might get interesting next season.

    Get the cowshit out of your eyes my man and read. I didn't say anything about those RBs not being good or transferring. I just said your coaches suck and your O-line plays like vaginas. Tell me where I'm wrong. Not- they will be better this year. That's bullshit unless you're Nostradamus.

    Actually it's not bullshit. It's called improvement, and it's happening.

    Last season we would've likely ended up with ten wins if all three of our top backs didn't get injured at the same time. But shit happens.

    Unless that happens against next season, expect Texas to improve....hater.

  • Jonathan Gray for sure. Curtis Riser could take the Center spot. I think Malcolm Brown could start at DT for a lot of teams but we are deep there. Dalton Santos is a beast at MLB.

    Good job judging a new coaching staff base off 1 year. Every good program has down years or do I have remind you how bad bama was before Saban was head coach.

    2007= 7-6 Saban FIRST year
    2006= 6-7
    2004= 6-6
    2003= 4-9
    2001= 7-5
    2000= 3-8 (LOL)

    And you have the AUDACITY to give Texas fans crap because of two poor seasons? no

    Improvement does happen but its just speculation until you see it on the field. College FB is better when Texas is good- then we don't have to hear about Ok State or Texas Tech. The problem is you're not good. 8-5 and 5-7 is not good when you're Texas. Losses to Miss, K State, getting drilled by OU (55-17...damn) is not good. The season before losing to UCLA, Iowa St, K State again, Texas A&M. Win some games before you come back with your arrogant bullshit. Texas is always going to have great players. Lucky for the rest of us, they don't always have great coaches. Woulda, should, coulda my man.

    You may want to look at AU's long snapper depth if you're in need. They recruit that position like no other.

    A new coaching staff? You guys fire Mack Brown and not tell anybody? Then you pull up some Mike Shula probation suck years. Mike Dubose. Haha. All Bama fans know we sucked. We're not pretending like we were a play away. Sabans first year went down the crapper when he suspended about 5 starters for selling text books. You're right... We should've dumped his sorry as right then. What's Mack's excuse? So yeah, I have the audacity to say Mack had a good run and he needs to hang them up. Is Case Mccoy your starting QB this year?

    And thats exactly why we fired 5 assistants,hired 2 of the absolute best coordinators in the nation,one of the top strength and conditioning coaches (who was just given the master strength and conditioning honor) and changed our recruiting tactics.We went out and got YOUR DT coach and another SEC line coach to improve the physicality and technique of our lineman. Whats done is done. But if you seriously expect us to be worse this season while we are on an upward trend,that is foolish. Not having to rely on a true freshman QB this season should certainly mean at least 2 more wins. We have a defense that will keep us in any game we play and an offense that actually knows he playbook this year You're right,college football IS better when Texas is good. And we're good. Soon,we'll be great again

  • Well best of luck this season then buddy. We upgraded in that DL coaching swap by the way. Master strength huh? Look forward to seeing you back in the BCS then. What are you guys thinking in terms of W-L record? I don't question your talent. Just your coaches and the softness in which you play with in the trenches.

    Teams swap assistants all the time. Most people refer to new coaching staffs when there is a change at head coach. You know, cause it's their program and all. Does Mack not run things around there or did he go full-Bowden or Patrino already?

  • Eli Harold(DE) will play alot in pass rush situations, and Kwonite Moore(MLB) will play. Moore could end up starting with a injury to the often injured starting MLB Steve Greer.

    10+ wins is the expectation with a title run in 2013. I agree our o line has played soft. McWhorter was taking 260 lb guards and banking on them getting bigger and stronger. Searels takes 300+ lb tackles with mean streaks. We had a great line haul last year and he has gained commitments from some of the top lineman in the top247. Now we'll be able to develop talent and recruit for our scheme,not for stars and ratings.

    I appreciate the informative post. Some of your fellow Longhorn fans can take lessons from you. I hope you guys get back to where you should be fighting it out with Oklahoma for a title run. It's more fun that way for all college football fans. USC/Oregon, Texas/Ok, Bama/LSU/Florida, Oh St/Mich. These are the teams we need to be good. Take care.

    I'm not sure any of those guys will start, maybe theus. They will all play though.

    Dawson could also be in the rotation, especially early in the season
