True freshman under most pressure

  • Has to be Keith Marshall

    rolltide06

  • I don't think he will have as much pressure on him as Crowell IMO. I think the staff and fans have learned that its tall task to be the man at RB in the SEC. He certainly won't have to carry the load. I think Ken Malcolme will hold down the starting spot and do a pretty good job. Todd Gurley has a good chance to help ease the load as well. Are any freshman quarterbacks expected to be starting for a big time school this year? If so I pick them.

    I LOVE UGA

  • For us it might be Sheldon Dawson because UGA's secondary will be depleted the first 2 games. Walk-ons might be in the Mizzouri game versus that spread offense. That game is either gonna be a miracle or a disaster. I'm hoping for the latter.

  • Yuri Wright is under loads of pressure. He's going to start and if he doesn't live up to his hype, people aren't going to be happy (I don't think this is going to happen and I think he'll be on the Pac 12 All-Freshman team).

    You are hoping for failure?

It's going to be baptism by fire for Wright. He has Marquess Wilson week four, Robert Woods and/or Marqise Lee week seven, and Josh Huff and/or DAT week eight. He better get his mind right.

What sanctions? Our 75 are better than your 85.

It's going to be baptism by fire for all the freshman starting on D but he has the most pressure on him by far but at least he gets three weeks before he faces someone really dangerous.

There isn't really any pressure when expectations are low.

Expectations aren't even close to low for Yuri. Not even close.

Will be keeping close eye on Wright. Would have been getting plenty of PT at ND had twittergate not happened. Will be rooting for the kid. Davonte Neal will have Irisheyes upon him. Need his playmaking at the slot, but might take snaps at CB or maybe both!panic

  • I think DGB will be under a lot of pressure to set the tone for Mizzou's move to the SEC. He needs to play like an All-SEC WR from week 1.

    Lol.

    No you misunderstood.

When everyone expects your team to win 5-6 games....

there really isn't any pressure to perform at a high level.

No you misunderstood. Your top rated player will always be under a huge amount of pressure to perform at the high level that he was rated as.

  • DE/LB Dante Fowler.. With Ronald Powell most likely out the 1st half of the season, pressure is on Fowler to come in and contribute early and often.

This is what I was thinking too.

Best prospect out of the state in what, two decades?

Is looked up to help push Missouri to greater things, and now in the SEC.

Fair or not, he will be compared in production to Sammy Watkins freshman season, etc...

    Another good call.

And added pressure because of his recruitment, and late switch - all eyes on him with lofty expectations.

  • Stefon Diggs receiver Maryland. He is looked at as the savior of Maryland football. Coaches with jobs on the line too.

  • Here's another to consider...

Wes Lunt - true fish QB at Oklahoma State

Replacing Weeden, Oklahoma State has had a terrific run, and expectations are higher annually for the program now as compared to 4-5 years ago.

I think this may be the winner. Florida has little depth at DE, LITTLE, and with Bullard now not arriving till after Mid-August it's basically on Fowler to play 30+ plays a game until Powell gets back. Intriguing to say the least. Teams will be running at him consistently.

Man that twittergate was so stupid. I can't believe how many people overreacted to him slaying white pussy and smoking mad dro.

  • I think Channing Ward at ole miss. He's the crown jewel of their class and he's expected to start from day one. If he doesn't live up to hype the black bears d-line will be in for a tough season...

Really wanted him at Michigan, but he is RAW, he should probably red shirt this year if he wants to develop correctly.

If your program is relying on a WR to turn the program around, your program sucks.
