Twitter is great if you take it at face value. One thing I do like about it is that you can get great information faster than any other outlet. A lot of breaking sports news hits twitter before another form of media.

I use Twitter for tons of things, but mainly it is my source of news. I know everything almost as soon as it happens. Very useful.
