Two new BCS Bowl Site’s?

Ahhh... Thanks. Well I retract my Indy idea. Title game only is what I'd expect for Indy. Busy day yesterday for me I only saw that the commissioners passed the 4 team playoff and Championship. Sorry

Nah it’s cool. TBH I could see Indy getting a BCS bowl. There’s already a BCS bowl in almost every major region in the country. I think the Midwest is deserving of one.

  • It's about time we get one of these in the Midwest either Detroit or Indianapolis.

    This.

Indy won't be added in the 6 sites because it's not a current bowl site. It might get a NC game though because that goes to the highest bidder. I would say the two bowl sites that will be added will be the cotton bowl and peach bowl. Sites that will host a championship game will possibly include those 6, definitely Dallas, Indy, possibly NY if the super bowl goes well there, Houston, maybe Kansas city.

    Detroit, Chicago

They won't let it be outside IMO
Detroit, Indy or St Louis would be the only bets I think.

  • If it goes to highest bidders, I would say Dallas (Jerry needs to pay the mortgage) and Las Vegas.

Indy and ATL seem like good choices too...but doubtful as highest bidders.

**EDIT: scratch Vegas, they would need a stadium. Indy and Dallas seem frontrunners and make most sense. ATL would love to have it, though.

  • I would think the Cotton/Jerry Bowl, the Chick-fil-A/Peach Bowl, and the Capital One/Citrus Bowl would be favorites

  • Peach/Chick fil a bowl would be good.

Yeah, you think Alumni will want to travel to a city that is going to have a huge chance of snow or warm Florida weather. It doesnt matter really anyways because Indy isnt in the Bowl rotation anyways. BTW Tampa is in the roation for Super Bowls as well.

No, I didn't read it correctly. I do think the championship game will be played in Indy though. For a championship it could be played anywhere and most fan bases will attended. Indy is not a bowl destination but would make a great championship venue. Sorry for my confusion.
