Good timing for him to come in too. Redshirt and then play sparingly as a RFr and then take over as a RSo......am i right?

I know a lot of Horn fans were wanting Barrett over Swoopes, but this week is turning out great. Got a suprise commitment from A'Shawn Robinson yesterday, and a commitment from Jake Oliver the day before. Oliver is the perfect receiver to help Swoopes as he develops. I expect a commitment from stud athlete Ricky Seals Jones to come sometime today or tomorrow.

While I'm not a Horn fan, their class looks great so far. Swoopes is a top 10 player on athletic ability and if he can become a bit more consistent throwing (that is, if he even gets the chance in that offense of his), he can be a straight stud.

Agree completely. People wanna knock the kid because of his passing ability, and rightfully so, the ability to throw the ball efficiently is mildly important to the position, but the kid comes with a natural skill set that is pretty rare. I've heard he might transfer to Desoto for his senior year, which would be a HUGE step up in competition and would go a long way towards speeding up his development.
