  • Pettis gets his title shot Aug.3rd against Aldo. Should be 1 hell of a fight. I'm pulling for Showtime as usual but its going to be tough.

    Also, the new TUF episode should be insane tonight with this KO that's supposably one of the nastiest KO's ever

    Benson is fighting Melendez in late April, so Pettis would have to wait even longer for a fight with the winner. Aug 3rd still seems far away to me though.

    *SPOILER ALERT* If you watch the trailer to tonight's episode you should know who wins. Ufc did a bad job at covering that up.

    There's no part of Pettis' game that is superior to Aldo's. He got outgrappled by Guida, and struggled with Jeremy Stephens. The weight cut will be huge for him as well.

    Buckeye - Which superfight? GSP vs Anderson or Anderson vs. Jon Jones? One of those will happen this isn't boxing Dana White has contracts with the fighters and will make it happen but probably next year. Jones is obviously lined up to fight Sonnen cause no one else would fight him but GSP vs. Anderson could happen sooner than later.

    I think GSP just wanted a fight coming back from an injury without it being the super fight. I think that one could happen sooner compared to Anderson vs. Jones. I'd rather see the Jones vs. Anderson since they are both absolute beast. GSP is as well but I think Jones vs. Anderson is more of a superfight. I see GSP losing to Anderson and I hate seeing GSP lose.

    I'm aware that 80% of the people think Anderson beats GSP, but I disagree. I see GSP putting Silva on the ground consistently, and I know Silva is dangerous on the ground, so is GSP. I have argued against my friends for sooo many years, I want to be proven right.

  • In regards to the TUF episode tonight, the "black guy" you see in the ambulance is Kevin Casey from team Sonnen (Cella "the white guy" who is fighting Hall tonight said this in a recent interview). They are just trying to spin it to keep it suspenseful when it goes down.....but Hall is going to murk Cella in the fight tonight.

    Yeah, I'm excited too. Dana has already said that every one of the fighters on this season will get at least one UFC fight. Should be a great season.
