Agree, boxing doesn't do much for me either. Great athletes but the sport isn't as exciting as it was during in the 80s and 90s with that heavyweight division.

MMA sucks just as much as boxing to me
Tried to be fan of it but just don't care and Dana White makes it so corny
The Ultimate Fighter is just pure homo imo, bunch of dudes living together and arguing over nothing like its The Jersey Shore
I wouldn't pay to see either sport in person, meh

Awesome or not I have no interest anymore, Im sure its somewhat entertaining but its so watered down and there isn't one MMA fighter that I actually like.... not one dude
Both are turrible imo, and Dana is still miles away from his dream of being the most popular sport on the planet
IMO that will never happen, even if the NFL dies down like it likely will

Which is why the UFC rules. Sure, their title fights may be hyped, but they'll give you a card with 6+ other fights that have potential to be the best fight you've ever seen. Whereas boxing gives you the title fight that usually sucks and 1 other fight that you don't even watch.
Say what what you want about the UFC, but the fact that they create the fights and not the fighters make it much more entertaining. In boxing, the fighters are way too strategic about picking their fights. If a UFC fight is all counter punching and no real action (which is exactly how Mayeeather fights) then they'd get boo'd out of the ring and Dana White wouldn't have them back.
