There is 17 better teams than UGA. In no particular order.
Their defense is laughable and they haven't even played a decent team yet.

If the SEC teams play great defense with little scoring, then they are offensively inept. If they score alot while giving up alot of points, then the defenses are overrated. Got it. The SEC will keep winning natty's and you keep looking for reasons to justify why they are not that good.

UGA didnt look good last night but either did SC. LSU hasnt looked good the last two weeks. But, a win is a win and undefeated is still undefeated. I remember Ohio State several years ago when they win the National Title I believe they won several games by less than 10 points. A win is a win and if you win every game(or 11 games) you will be in the national title hunt every year. At the end of the season, no one looks at you being 12-0 but only won every game by 3 points. They look at you as winning every game. It is a long season and every team has a week or maybe 3 or 4 that they dont look good. But, a win is a win. USC looked bad against Vandy and UK(for a half). LSU looked bad against Auburn and struggled with Townson for 3 qtrs. UGA had a shootout with UT this week. FSU looked bast USF and that game was closer than the experts predicted.
It is football and at the end of the day a win is a win. I think UGA stays in the top 10 most of the year bc they have a pretty easy schedule and at the end of the year, a 2 loss SEC team will finish in or near the top 10.

And who would that be. I dont think any team with a loss could be considered better than UGA right now. So that would only leave like 20 teams.
Ohio State didnt look good against Mich State on Saturday. Oregon State still has the meat of its schedule to play. Texas is good but I think UGA's defense would destroy Ash.
I have Oregon, West VA, LSU, Bama, and FSU better than them. USC and UGA will fight it out on the field this weekend. I think the winner of that game wins the SEC. I dont think UGA is that good but your arguement that a lot of teams are better than them is week.
Let me say that I dont think UGA is a top 10 team, but they will based on thier schedule and beating everyone they are supposed to beat. I think they finish with 2 losses and 2 losses in the SEC almost always gurantees you a top 10-15 ranking at the end of the year. The Big 10, ACC, and Big East combined might only have 2 or 3 teams in the top 15. The Pac-12 is going to start beating up on each other as is the Big 12.
