  • You need to play Lee both ways next year

Doesn't have to be full time but enough for him to make the difference he would make

Looking forward to watching him at Corner this weekend

  • Everyone forgets Lee came to USC to play corner and asked to try receiver.

Personally I'd rather he just stay on offense. One corner isn't going to help a defense who has lost the ability to tackle.

Im just worried if we wear his ass out he won't be as effective. We just need to get a better corner or DC.

Or if lane spreads the ball around more to Agholor and farmer I'm all for it.

Also glad you guys pulled it out tonight.

It wasn't pretty but Thursday night games on the road suck

  • Yeah Ill take a win, its all about perception for recruiting cause perception is reality these days for the most part

I know FSU isn't legit but we only have one legit team on the schedule remaining

If we can eek out a win against the Gators and beat the Canes again to finish 12-1 Ill be happy

It was certainly better than I expected in the preseason, and 13-1 would be very nice heading into next year where I know this FSU team is going to better

And remember we are a 4th down away from being unbeaten right now, one play away

FSU is getting there, slowly but surely.... we need to make a move at OL coach though, enough is enough

    Trick love the kiiiddssss.

It really looks like Bama is the only complete team this year. Judging on this years scale you guys are legit, especially if Oregon, K State, and ND go down you guys have a punchers chance cause your D will keep you in any game, and Green can make plays.

But running for a total like that with that stable of backs is r word. Especially when they're running counters on the goal line.

    Alonzo Harris

  • Yeah I've been saying it, hell I say it every year

Put a good DL on the field and FSU's OL gets manhandled every single time

I wasn't fooled by the improved run game at all, I knew this was the real run game we saw tonight

OL is just a total let down every year

I think Oregon will beat Bama, or at least has a better chance than anyone else.

I disagree. I think if there is one team built to beat a team like Oregon, it's the gumps.

Yup, Bama is way too big, fast and physical for a team like Oregon

I think Bama's defensive style of using their 3 D-linemen to gap control and let their lb'ers make the tackles is going to be tougher to defend a team like Oregon, than say a LSU team who uses their d-linemen as 1 gap penetrators. On D Oregon is going to throw 9 in the box, and stop Bama half the time, and give up a big play the other half.

  • Kids aren't built for Ironman football these days. I think it's dangerous playing Lee both ways. I think it will effect his play and could possibly ruin his future. The kid is special, but he's not Superman. I think it's a bad idea.

roflmao if anything they are built for it, kids are in excellent physical condition and football is the " stand around " sport

You get more breaks playing football then any sport not named baseball

We also aren't talking every series, just something like Champ and Woodson did in the late 90's

I think it goes both ways. If there's one team that can beat Bama it's Oregon and if there's one team that can beat Oregon it's Bama. It's just a matter of which team shows up more. Funny thing is it will have to be Oregons D that will make it so we can beat Bama and it will be Bamas O that will make it so they beat Oregon. If that makes any sense. Lol. It's a given Oregons O will show up and Bamas D will show up so they both have to come through where the are weakest. No homer. I think it definitely makes for the best matchup for a NCG.

I agree kids are definitely more fit and well conditioned, but so are the kids they are facing. Wouldn't you think there would be more kids playing both ways if they were built for it? I guess you're right though. If he's not playing full time on both sides and they just put him to stop certain plays or series I guess it can't hurt to try. I just think it would be unfortunate if he were to go out and injure himself playing on D. But then again I guess there's always the risk if injuy wherever you are playing. It will definitely be interesting to see how he does.

  • At this point, why not. There is really nothing to lose at this point. USC are not contenders for the Rose Bowl this year which is disappointing.

I still would like to see Kevon Seymour see reps at CB instead of Harris, Shaw, et al. Shaw will be better used at S next year.

We can afford to lose Lee at WR since we have guys like Blackwell, Farmer, Fluornoy who see virtually no playing time. Agholor is a good one already.

I do want to see what Lee can do on D. It won't fix the scheme issues under Monte, but it could be a good start.

I only want to see Lee play Situational defense. 3rd and long, and that's it.

    Seymour is (supposedly) injured.

Also, couldn't we try Agholor on D? I thought he was a good DB in high school as well.
