USC is about

  • To make a run... I can feel it. Just like last year,,, started off slow. Were starting to come together. Our Defense is actually pretty good this year,, and Barkley returned to Heisman form last week. Kiffin is not effin around this time,, he knows how important this year is, he might have been to cocky before Stanford humbled him. But hes not going to have another let down. I expect to start blowing teams out, starting with Washington this weekend. W Virginia, S Carloina, Whoregon, Bama, Big 10 champ watch out.

  • Trueeee,,, we gotta beat Oregon, tha only team on our schedule that can beat us IMO. Beating them twice will be hard,,, but there CBs are still crap. Lee had like 200 yds against them as a frosh, and is now bigger,better, stronger. Rose Bowl more likely then MNC

  • Maybe USC should stop going so hard after skill players and look at what wins most football games, line play. USC is a nice top 10 team to get any more excited about them than that is simply asinine.

    Uh yeah frosh corners are going to get worked by Lee MB and Woods. But they are playing night and day better this year. They've been pick 6ing all over the place.

    Slowing him down is all I can reasonably hope for. Like holding him under a buck twenty. If Lee goes off like last year it's over. He had 200 I believe.

    It's not like we haven't been trying.

    USC has been in the final 3 of most of the top O & D linemen for the last few years. We've gotten our share of the Cali guys but lost most of the oos recruits to home state schools which is to be expected. THe SEC has profited from the fact that the cream of the crop of big men has been in their back yard.

    Being down 10 recruits a year isn't helping. There's no room for "projects" or to take chances.

    Thank you captain obvious. You people act like we've never played football, or ever produced great offensive lineman or defensive players...duh.

    We're not at USC level on the lines, but it's not because we don't know the importance, or aren't attempting to build on the lines.

    Nine OL at this point for the 2012-2014 classes and seven DL for 2012-2013 so far with the scholarship reductions.

    OL has underperformed this year no doubt. Reinforcements are coming for sure.

  • Beating Oregon twice, may be too much to ask of any team. We still really need to get our offensive line together, to have a chance of that. Oregon's corners are much more grown up this season compared to last. Wont be as easy to chuck the ball up downfield like last years game.
