    Do people here on tbb still believe that myth about it being better to lose earlier in the season, if you lose.

    Wvu, USC, lsu, osu, fsu, South Carolina or Florida, etc

    agreed it's the best part of the BCS .because of this I watch games that I otherwise wouldn't have any interest in.

    Put it this way for me. Lee is without a doubt one of the best WRs in the country, I think you could make the argument he is the best, better than Woods no question. Your not going to stop him you just have to contain him. And seeing the way Ifo has came on in the last few games, makes me a little less nervous with the Woods/Lee, Ifo/Mitchell matchup. Do I still expect Woods and Lee to make some big plays? Of course. Lee has improved, but so has Ifo will just have to see how much.

    USC has a great chance IF we hand Oregon their only loss, beat an undefeated or one loss Notre Dame team and then beat Oregon again

    No team has a harder task than that

    Trueeee,,, we gotta beat Oregon, tha only team on our schedule that can beat us IMO. Beating them twice will be hard,,, but there CBs are still crap. Lee had like 200 yds against them as a frosh, and is now bigger,better, stronger. Rose Bowl more likely then MNC

    Corners are crap huh? Lee was a.freshmen yes, but so were our DB's. I guess you haven't looked at Ifo's stats this year. I'll admit I was afraid of SC before thr season started, but after watching them play, I'm really, really looking forward to Nov 3rd. Ducks are going to light Barkley up and our O is going to put numbers up on your D. We're focused man!!! Prepare for the wrath of Chip. It's going to be like the last time we came to LA.

    Yep, at least one.

    They may lost to ND at the end of the year, and Oregon is the for sure loss IMO.
    They could easily win both games, with their talent level, but their OL sucks and they still have Kiffen as a HC.

    The two teams who are playing the best so far in the B1G are ineligible to go, so I'd imagine Purdue or NW are the top contenders.

  • You do all realize that USC has played only 2 home games so far this year and are on the road again this weekend. Most teams have 4 home games under their belts already. After this weekend USC only leaves LA for one more game in Tucson.

    Home field advantage is huge in CFB. This stretch for USC was killer and a win at U-dub sets them up really well to run the table.

    Beating Oregon twice, may be too much to ask of any team. We still really need to get our offensive line together, to have a chance of that. Oregon's corners are much more grown up this season compared to last. Wont be as easy to chuck the ball up downfield like last years game.

    One of the reason USC went off was because Oregon couldn't get any pressure on Barkley, with Kalil gone and your o-line having problems, I definitely feel better going into the game. We also lost Dion Jordan early in the game and if our D is healthy, I think we force Barkley to make mistakes like the Stanford game.
