OJ Howard is one of the top prospects in the class.

In this setting, which is more in-line and not flexing out as much or lining up wide, he hasn't had the chances to show his awesome athleticism.

As a prospect, he's tremendous - and it's his versatility and upside that makes him a terrific prospect IMO.

  • Keith, you guys should do a TOP 5 underperformers, guys who have struggled.

  • ^^^^ this^^^ has Bivin played any OT or strictly playing center? Pretty impressive a kid that big can move to center and more than hold his own. Do you think he can play center in college?

Something to loo at after the game. For me, the game factors into the equation too.

The only other thing I would consider with that is its an all-star game with new schemes and little prep time, and new coaches and likely a lot of different terminology than kids are used to.

Thanks. Just trying to get a feel for how you determined it.

He's worked at both, tackle the first day at the beginning of practice a lot.

His knee bend, and overall flexibility is impressive - agree that has impressed. Not easy to to bend, snap the ball and maintain leverage at 6-6/6-7 for sure IMO.

  • Not surprised that Keith Ford is showing out.

I think Ford, Kamara, and now Thomas Tyner [since he's showing what he can do against good competition at US Army Practices] Ryan Green and T. Jones are the best RBs in this class.

Question IMO is whether Kamara and Green play a multi-purpose role in college (ie. Percy Harvin at Florida, Black Mamba/Tavon Austin) or do they bulk up as they are not as dense, muscularly thick as Ford, Jones, and Tyner.

Kelvin Taylor has also started growing on me....love his jump cuts and short area quickness. Still concerned that he's currently 1 year older than Todd Gurley at UGA....so he's potentially fully developed or close to it physically at 19.5 years old.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

Ford, prior to the Jones Fracture, was as impressive as any in the class. He's very good out of the backfield too. Terrific feet in the hole.

Pretty cool Ford and Derek Henry played pop warner together in the Jacksonville area before Ford's family moved to the Houston area.

I heard about Ford and Henry playing together. Heard T. Jones and Kamara played 1 year of Pop Warner together here in ATL.

I know T. Jones, Eddie Printz Jr, and Shemire Devine played 7th & 8th grade ball together and went undefeated both years. Think T. Jones had like 47-48 TDs during the 7th grade season. Jones and Printz played in the 2009 8th Grade All-American Game in San Antonio. Think it's done in conjunction with the Army All-American Game and Jones won MVP. Think Kelvin Taylor was on his team in that All-American Game.

Neat to see "future" NFLers progress through the ranks from Pee Wee to college to the NFL.

That really is the Q for me with Poggi.

I would probably say in the 285-290 range. Like all guys, it's about keeping the current quickness/explosion with the added 20+ pounds. Should Poggi do that or come close to doing that, he will be a very effective player IMO.

  • For the Ohio State fans out there, the father of Joey Bosa said Joey is in that 270-275 range and they really want him to level off at 275.

His frame is definitely advanced, more than the majority of kids at the HS level, but he can still stack more weight dependent on what and where Ohio State wants to play him.

  • Have you gotten to see Kennedy Tulimasealii? If so how has he done? Saw him play about seven times this season and he stood out more than Manti did in HS.

    The kid was unblockable.
