Wow, Noel has some very good measurables it seems.

Noel Ellis (5-9.5, 170 lbs) running a 6.86 second 3-cone drill & jumping 32" in the vertical is not too shabby.
For comparison, 1999 1st round pick CB Antoine Winfield (5-9, 176) ran a 6.84 second 3-cone & had a 37" vertical. But he also ran a 4.41 forty.
Curious to see Noel Ellis' forty time now.

Think he was high 4.5's or low 4.6, but waiting to see for sure.
Running on grass, somewhat of a crosswind.

Yeah we documented his injury in our recruiting notes article on the front but yes I think that his time was good all things considered. It's laser-timed on grass, he's 220-plus and had a broken leg.

Most impressive as we head to drills...the good stuff...
Stacey Coley is so freaking smooth, quick and really bursts out of every step.
Vernon Hargreaves just has a terrific CB body type and has tested very well.
OJ Howard is the on the hoof champion today IMO. Followed by AJ Turman.

We have a great plan for LSU and we have all of the pieces in place -- we just can't announce anything at this time. It will roll out early to mid 2012.
