It's funny because I have Florida at 5-7.

I made SEC predictions a couple of days ago. Here they are:

    Losses are in parentheses beside their record. SECe: 1. South Carolina (11-1) (@LSU) 2. Georgia (11-1) (@South C) 3. Tenn (9-3) (@UGA, Vs Bama, @South C) 4. Mizzou (7-5) (Vs UGA, @South C, Vs Bama, @Florida, @Tenn) 5 Vandy (7-5) (Vs South C, @UGA, @Mizzou, Vs Auburn, Vs Tenn) 6. Florida (5-7) (@TAMU, @Tenn, Vs LSU, @Vandy, Vs South C, Vs UGA, @FSU) 7. Kentucky (3-9) (@Louisville, @Florida, Vs South C, Vs Miss St, @Ark, Vs UGA, @Mizzou, Vs Vandy, @Tenn)

SECw: 1. LSU (12-0) 2. Arkansas (10-2) (@South C, Vs LSU) 3. Alabama (10-2) (@Ark, @LSU) 4. Auburn (7-5) (Vs Clem, Vs LSU, Vs Ark, Vs UGA, @Bama) 5. Texas A&M (7-5)(@SMU, Vs Ark, Vs LSU, @Auburn, @Bama) 6. Mississippi State (6-6) (Vs Auburn, Vs Tenn, @Bama, Vs TAMU, @LSU, Vs Ark) 7. Ole Miss (3-9) (Vs Texas, @Bama, Vs TAMU, Vs Auburn, @Ark, @UGA, Vs Vandy, @LSU, Vs Miss St)

Interesting. If Arkansas can come out that strong with all of the skepticism going around that program, that will be pretty special. I see Tennessee more at 8-4 with a loss to Miss State or Florida.

    You should look up "coachspeak".

Since 2004, it's been rather competitive, and UT has looked like crap most times against a team.with zero talent.

I have no problem with your West predictions. I could see Bama losing to Arky but I don't think it'll happen.

The ONLY reason I picked the Hogs over Bama is because I think the Bama D will still be too inexperienced to deal with an elite offense like Arkansas. If they played Arkansas at the end of the season, where the newcoming Bama starters have had a full season to gain experience and whatnot, I'd pick Bama all day. Early in the season though, I think there might be some growing pains with all the new starters on defense.

Ah. Perhaps I was more in tune to the orange dill weed who acted like UT was vastly superior ...it hasnt been that way as of late. I was there in the early 2000s, and one of my best friends was a Commodore, so I'm pretty in tune to the rivalry.

Exactly. We play LSU in Fayetteville for the first time since our first season in the SEC in '92.

All are fair points. If our D plays well against Michigan then I really like our chances of beating Arkansas.

In 2010, we played Penn State before Arkansas. Penn State's offense was below average and wasn't much of a challenge for us. Arkansas was the first elite offense we played that year. This year we play your Wolverines and that will present a much tougher challenge than we had in '10. If we play well, I really like our chances against Arkansas.

    I'm predicting Bama by 10.

We just aren't ready. The coaching staff is here, the coaching is definitely good enough to compete with anybody, but Michigan's players, size and talent wise just can't match up with Alabama... YET. We're getting there, Hoke is recruiting great.
If we played Alabama in 2, 3 or 4 years, I would definitely be confident we could win, but not now.

It's actually fun being a Vandy fan, because every win is a HUGE deal. I couldn't live and die Vandy football like I do FSU (which is hard enough as it is), but I'm pretty pumped about Franklin.

miss state only has 2 for sure loses bama and lsu. we are favored in every game except bama lsu then Arkansas is a loss up with the situation there. we took them into overtime the last time we played them at home. they lost alot me fire power from last year and we aren't sure if the same kNile Davis will be back. i think atm will be over matched in the sec. they just ain't ready. i all of our toss up games are at home and i think playing at home we have a huge advantage. bama and lsu are on the road. we will win anywhere from 8 to 11 and im not being a homer.
