Vanderdoes vs. Nkemdiche

  • Would you have ranked Vanderdoes ahead of Robert Nkemdiche?

If I were doing rankings solo, I would have given it some thought. Not sure I would have gone in that direction all things considered, but I would have given it some thought.

  • Gotta go with Robert Nkendjnjnksajnakjnkjn. Eddie is probably one of my favorite interior players of all time, though. I was pretty pissed on SD when we didn't get him. I tend to do that,.

  • I think it's pretty close between the two. They are both HUGE talents and will greatly help their college fb teams.

  • I'm taking RNK as well. Number one player in the country.

  • EV was the best DL in this class. Unfortunately, none of the recruiting services wanted to move away from ranking RN #1 as a junior. EV will be the better player.

  • Better question, IMO, JC is Hand or Nkemdiche?

Lebron James will never be as good as Michael Jordan, thus we should get rid of his nickname, "The King".

  • Give me EV in Bama's system.

  • To be honest I would have taken Kenny Bigelow over both. ECA is a fraud school, but they have a good football team. They only played 4 games but he had 12 sacks nearly 20 TFL and lined up on the interior.

    Dominant.

  • I had EV as the highest ranked DT since last summer. Haven't seen a HS kid use his hands like EV does. Kid plays with a chip on his shoulder and is surprisingly athletic for a player of his size. Still can't believe we added him to our class. Going to be fun watching Jaylon Smith and EV's career unfold at ND.

Lol. Obviously you're a Baltimoron as well. 105.7 was busting in Eastern Christian Academy the other day. School is completely seedy. Football mill at its finest. The phone number to the school is a cell phone and it went to vm on a school day. Wow!!! Of course they're linked to SC. SC feeder school. Lane probably helped fund it. What a joke!!! Bigelow is a beast though.

I think it's very hard to say. I'm biased, living and coaching in Gwinnett County here in Georgia, and the competition in this county and the two regions that make it up is quite possibly the best in the country. 7 schools made it to the top 16 in the AAAAAA playoffs, and three Gwinnett schools were eliminated by other Gwinnett schools.

I'd have to know more about EV's competition. But Nkemdiche is the best HS lineman I've seen in person. Only saw Clowney on TV. Nkemdiche basically eliminated half the LOS, or required no less than 2 to block. And this was against very, very good people.

I've seen neither in person so this is just off of film and some games on tv. Clowney was a guy that could have been drafted out of HS IMO. I would doubt that RN could have been. I think he is super talented but not on the same level as Clowney coming out of HS.

I grew up Gwinnett. Went to Parkview and know what you are saying about the competition in Gwinnett. I live in Walton Co. now.
Btw, if you don't mind what high school you at?

That's probably a stretch. When Clowney and Cyrus Kouandjio competed against each other in practice at the Under Armour, Clowney dominated him the first day. After that, Cyrus adjusted and they literally went back and forth on who would win each rep. And there's no way Cyrus was NFL-ready coming out of HS.

No question they're both just about ready now, though.

Bigelow is a great prospect and has excellent quickness, etc., but isn't quite Vanderdoes in that area so for that reason I'd have EV higher.

As a pure DE prospect, I would take Hand. But because you can do a lot of different things with Nkemdiche, I'd have him higher as a overall prospect. More rare. Higher value.
