    Its true

Its all about who you know, some docs truly don't give a shit and my game was find a few different ones and rotate so they don't think you are abusing as much as you are

I had a problem though lol

    Huh?

I only go to one doctor and the same Walgreens I always go to. If you actually have legitimate injuries in your past then you shouldn't have to play games.

daaaaaamn seems like you have built up quite a tolerance. I don't get them very often, the doctors around here act like they are gold or something. Actually I was told by a doctor that local college students come in with bull tits stories about pain and abusing them so now they are hesitant to prescribe them frustrated. I had a hell of a tooth ache once and those jackasses give me 600mg Ibuprofen , I was like ..... get tha fck outta hea ya bustin my balls

I was in hospital a few months ago for a fistula/abscess, in the most inconvenient of areas. Vicadin was useless, I had to beg for something to help the pain. They gave me morphine and I verbally abused the nurse accusing her of giving me a placebo. 3 units of delodid(spelling) later, I felt better, for a little while.

How many different pharmacies did you go to?

I wouldn't be getting multiple subs at a time

But over the 8 years or so i would say at least 10 different ones from a host a different doctors

Benefits of living in a populated area

And then there is the black market, i can find almost anything like this if i wanted too

Just usually prefered that my health care provider foot the bill

That's true, but it's much more difficult nowadays because hospitals, pain clinics and doctors can keep track of you very easily. All they have to do is use the computer to pull up your history and see all the hospital visits you've ever taken and what excuses you were using to get drugs. I've visited all the hospitals in my area at least 30 times apiece over the years. They have a bulletin out for my name now since they're on to me. Even pharmacies too. Moving wont help because the computer system is nationwide.

That still didn't stop them from prescribing 100 Vicodin pills for a skin tag removal though. lol around here it's so easy to get pain meds; doctors hand them out like candy.

If you have good health insurance and a legitimate excuse, most doctors will give you whatever the hell you ask for.

Edit: I actually got the first finger up the ole poop shoot when I had those bleeding ulcers that I was telling you guys about and the doctor asked if I had any pain. I told her both emotional and physical. She then proceeded to try and give me 2mg of morphine and I laughed at her. I told her that it would take at least 30 mg to do the trick and she checked my file. No BS she looked at my chart and asked if it was correct that I had Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I told her yes I did and that my company paid for it and she said, and I'm quoting, "Give the man what he wants".

Yeah most don't care and i bet some doctors get pushed by the companies that make the pills to just move that shit and sit back and watch your chips stack

Most americans will say " yes sir " to that proposition

I think that is a pretty known fact. They made a movie with Jake Gylenhaal and Anne Hathaway that kind of pointed to that. One of those chick flicks my ex wife made me watch with her.

Very true. I have Medical Mutual insurance which is at the top of the line. Doctors may know my history but don't give a shit anyways. Ha. I haven't visited a hospital for drugs in about 6 years. Since then I had found a good OxyContin and NuBain dealer which is much cheaper. Eventually, my insurance was wondering what I was up to visiting all these hospitals. I basically had to stop.

But, it became too costly and it's been 4 years since I used them except for the surgery I had.

That's through Cofinity, right? We accept that here in Michigan, and have a lot of Ohio patients in my office. Cofinity is a great insurance.

  • Abusing pain meds is a quick way to liver disease. I know.

I have bad knees and would take a ton of ibuprofen and a lot of vikes just to work. It ate my liver after 20 years.

I can take pure oxy without the acetominiphin binder in fact I have a few hundred of them about a foot away from me. I rarely take them though.

Yeah they are about to move me on the stuff without the acetaminophen as well. I've always been up front and honest with them when it comes to my drinking habits and that I wasn't going to just quit so they are talking about putting me on the straight stuff.

Before people that like pills think that is necessarily a good thing, the acetaminophen actually enhances the painkiller itself and actually makes it work quicker, so it's not exactly a good thing unless you care about your liver. That may be common knowledge but I didn't know about it until like a month ago.

My apologies if I am remembering this incorrectly, but didn't your daughter donate a portion of her liver or a kidney to you?

It's also nothing like Tylenol so I don't know what the fvck Billy is talking about.

Yeah whats different is the actual Hydrocodone in Vicodin,Lortabs, etc. The rest of the pill is acetaminophen aka Tylenol. Anywhere from 325-750mgs of acetaminophen in each pill.

That is why I started taking them.

People don't understand how cluster migraines can really debilitate you. I go through phases with them though. I'll have them for six months and won't get them for about a year and then, BOOM, they start up again.

I get cluster migraines as well. The worst pain in the world and like you I won't have them for months or years even but when they hit its like a ton of bricks. Vics or Oxy is the only thing that works!

Hydrocodone is the generic for Vicodin.

Just make sure you don't drink alcohol with Vicodin too often or habitually.

The tylenol in the drug causes cirrohisis of the liver when mixed with Alchohol when used extensively.

My uncle died that way. He was a habitual drinker, but the Vicodin made it 100 times worse.

Just an FYI if you want to live past 50.

  • They give vikes away like candy but they really aren't that strong.

Percocet is the best pain reliever going but it almost impossible to get and highly addictive. If you ask the doctor for it he thinks you are abusing it.

I actually tried to stay off the acetaminophen based stuff for a WHILE because I knew about the liver problems. Thing is that I absolutely have to take something for pain or I would have to lay in bed all day. Because most Vicoden/Lortab/Hydrocodone (all the same damn thing) have about 750 mg of acetaminophen per pill and I had to take so many of them I switched to Goody's Powders because it actually didn't take as many of them to kill my migraines.

Well wouldn't you know that the amount of aspirin and the fact that you're basically inhaling a powder instantly it started messing with my stomach. Sure enough I wound up with two bleeding ulcers and losing like 9 units of blood and had to go to the hospital twice to get the ulcers cauterized to stop the internal bleeding.

It seems like I'm in a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation honestly.

  • All of you taking opiods recreationally need to be careful. I had a patient OD and die two weeks ago. He only got one prescription from me, but was apparently getting prescriptions all over town and taking a handful at a time. Don't end up dead like that guy.
