I just screwed up thieves guild because I stopped to sleep in the middle ... haha I have to steal the book back from the girl who has it.... we will see whats up and then i will try the other.

I don't like spending the 15-20 seconds to save the game, which screws me over when I have to spend 1-2 hours trying to get back where I was after I die.

I keep 3 save points at all times. When Im robbing a house I do one outside, 1st floor, and finally second floor before i pickpocket their sleeping asses.

I never messed with the Mages Guild. My character didn't have a lot of magica.

Has anyone here played 'Limbo'? I think it's just a downloadable ps3 game, but man.... it looks pretty awesome. Very stark.

The audio on that game is amazing if you really crank it.... sounds stupid to say on a 2d side scrolling game, but it's so desolate. I think that's what impressed me the most. The whole thing is extremely well done. And I haven't even played it, just saw someone playing it.

There are some games with great stories especially if they did not have to be drawn out over a long game. I think Red Dead Redemption, GTA 4, Uncharted 2, God of War trilogy, Alan Wake all had good stories better than most of the sh!tty movies that come out which is not really saying much though. A lot of games have good stories they just lack good character development. Gears had a good story just weak character development. Character development and personality is what makes Uncharted so great IMO.

There are definitely some good stories and you named most of the best.
I would also add Mass Effect. Red Dead might be my favorite. That or the Uncharted series. Both had excellent stories with believable characters.

I think it is still $15 and I would say it is about 6 hours long from what I remember. Which isn't bad considering some $60 games only have a 6 hour single player.
