That review is the worst review I have ever read on any game.... ever... ever..

First of all, he references COD way too many times. Battlefield is not COD. It doesn't want to be COD.

He mentions K/D ratio. Who gives a damn? There are so many ways to win a match that it really doesn't matter. I have a decent K/D, but I don't care about that. I care about what my team score is. Whether that be repairing a vehicle, throwing out ammo, throwing motion mines, taking a base, ect...

He mentions the vehicles and the right after that says they are like killstreaks. THEY ARE NOTHING LIKE KILLSTREAKS. They are part of the battlefield. This isn't COD on some kind of tiny ass map.

He then mentions he was trying to find a spot to "post up" and hoped the building didn't crumble. So he is a COD camper. Cool.

He mentions prestige mode. Does he realize that COD is not the only shooter? Prestige mode is not new. It is not innovative, and really it does nothing besides make you unlock the same damn things over and over and over again. It takes forever to level up in Battlefield because they want to reward the dedicated fans. That came directly from a DICE executive's mouth. Do you know how much COD copied off of Battlefield 2? Yes, COD 4 took a lot from Battlefield 2 which released in 2005.

Hey mr. reviewer, how about this.

Why hasn't Treyarch, IW, or whatever developer is making COD these days upgraded the graphics since COD4? Are they that lazy, or is it because the kids ages 9-14 will have their mom run out and buy it regardless? Why are they still using that ancient peer to peer networking? Why do all the games promote camping? Why do they make explosives to where they will kill within a 50 ft. radius? That last one is to keep the children happy. I know that much.

This guy is a retard. There is no way around it. He should never review another game again.

I would just say he is probably not very good at FPS's and he should go back to COD.

I beat the first 2 and I just can't stand the repetitive nature of the game. I don't think I'll spend another 20 hours on a new Assassins Creed but if it is good, let me know.

I have honestly never seen a worse "review". It wasn't even a review, it was an angry 12 year old that was upset that Battlefield isn't the same as COD. That is what it sounds like.

Some new tidbits of info on Skyrim.

An intrepid Bethesda forum-goer has posted a summary of a Skyrim preview from German magazine PC Games. Some of the details are even new.

The reported details are minor, but any Skyrim news is good news, right?

The map is 3D, but you can't make notes on it
Some dragons are friendly, at least to the point of holding conversations with the player
Some level of economic simulation is in, with the prices of goods reflecting the state of the world
Blowing wind will whip up the surface of bodies of water
Lockpicking: still a minigame
In addition to the five major cities, there will be eight or nine smaller settlements to visit
You can buy houses again
Children will appear in some form in-game

The report originally had a tidbit about planned Facebook integration, which was shot down by Bethesda marketing guy Pete Hines. Hines did not make any move to deny the rest of the report, so my guess for now is that it's legit. It's legit, see below.

No huge surprises here, though I'm curious how Bethesda is approaching the problem posed by the presence of children in the go-anywhere, do-anything world of The Elder Scrolls. If it were me, I'd probably go with "avenging god immediately lightning bolts your face off" as a solution to anyone who harms a child.

We've reached out to Bethesda for comment and will update this story with any new information. A Bethesda spokesperson has confirmed that the information is legit. Fans rejoice! I know you were all dying to know about lockpicking.
