Yeah it looks gorgeous on PC from what I have seen. I am really looking forward to it.
I remember when I first saw the trailer for it a few years ago and I got a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach knowing that I wouldn't be able to play it.
I will still keep my consoles for exclusives and to play online.

Yea exclusive games are usually the best games. It makes me sick not to be able to play something that looks really good and it is going to kill me when the new consoles come out because I will want them all. I know you love Battlefield on PS3 but I would also get it on PC just to see how much better it looks. Diablo 3 is a PC exclusive as of right now. I am really hoping it comes to consoles.

Oh yeah I will be getting Battlefield on PC. 64 player battles and the visuals will be a big step up.
My list of games will be SWTOR, Diablo 3, Witcher 2 as of right now. Those are the first few games. Well depending on when Diablo actually comes out.
I also want to play Starcraft 2. Some really good PC games coming out in 2012.

Kingdoms of Amular demo was fun but after playing Skyrim other RPG's have more to live up to IMO. I am looking more forward to the Witcher 2 and Mass Effect 3. Here is the new trailer for Resident Evil 6 which looks awesome to me.

Skyrim will also be much better just because of all the mods which makes the game look much better. Diablo 3 was announced in 2008 I think and it keeps getting pushed back. With them releasing the trailer at the Video Game Awards I am thinking they will release it this year.

It really pains me to say that I'm saddened about where this franchise went (Resident Evil). Too much action. Not enough horror. I remember clearly the first time I clicked play in RE1. That first play through experience was eerie (For me, it was only preceded by an early experience with the Phantasmagoria game). Then Silent Hill sent the benchmark for survival horror.
The "mysterious" website nohopeleft.com makes sense now. It was suspected that an official announcement or trailer would be dropped today.
Just really sad while watching the trailer. They are really moving the title into the action area and leaving behind the horror element. That claustrophobic, never-know-whats-behind-the-next-door vibe is seriously gone when I play any of them after 3.

Played both. Enjoyed them. Played Galaxies back in the day for a bit. Will try out SwotR at some point I'm sure. Though when it comes to MMORPGs I'm one of the old schoolers. The "hand it to me on a silver platter asap" mentality of the genre right now (WoW, Rift, Aion) bores me. I play the AH in WoW but I haven't been able to bring myself to tank on my paladin in the last couple of weeks (much to the chagrin of Noah and Riseup). We did just rock out an awesome Recruit-a-friend session. The three of us leveled from 1-80 in less than 4 days played with two sets of characters. Much fun that was (all be it "easy-mode" IMO).
The game pace of Final Fantasy XI or even the original Everquest is more my thing. I liked the fact that there were three people on the server who could make certain things or if you wanted something and you went after it there was enough tedium involved that when you did get it is was the most exhilarating experience ever. Most MMORPG players now don't care for that game play. I can drop 6k in gold and level a profession to it's max in warcraft with no failure rate and I never have to move if I have collected all the materials. That is part of the reason most stuff is worthless on the Auction House. Everybody can make it.

The first KOTOR is my favorite story ever in a game.
I keep hoping someday that Bioware will make a third and finish the story.
Also they need to make another Jade Empire.

Yeah very good story.
If you have even a decent PC it could probably run it. That game is close to 10 years old now. I think it came out in 03 or 04.

The story in the Old Republic is far more interesting to me. Supposedly Lucas is retiring. Maybe if he actually steps away we can see something like that.
